"Small hotel in the bustling heart of San Salvador. Rooms are small but comfy. Street noise can be a little tough at night. TONS of restaurants and activities within blocks of the hotel. Staff was incredibly kind. The security guard offered to drive our car to the offsite parking and proceeded to give us an impromptu tour on the walk back. "

"Room was spacious and clean, the staff were super nice and helpful, from the doormen, front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff. The pool was clean, not crowded and fun for the kids. The Premium Lounge for snacks and refreshments available throughout the day was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good. It’s an older hotel, but generally well maintained, and the location is convenient, across from Bambu City Center mall. The Bambu City Center was also a meeting spot for our tour company, so that was very convenient. We had a great time in El Salvador and enjoyed our stay at the Barceló San Salvador. "

"I felt like I was being watched by bysomeone all the time and when brother drop my father off, they thought I was getting ready to have a party all the time they keep reminding me about the rules of the place. They even told me not to talk on the deck because the residents were really picky about that,to be quiet even inside and one of the toilets wasn’t working I was bothere by email and questioned for everything not a peaceful place to stay if you’re trying to relax"
