When we arrived, the outside smelled strongly like rotten fish because of a blossoming tree, which wasn’t a great first impression. The room was clean but dated, with scuffed walls and some peeling paint, and the breakfast was mediocre. Checkout was handled through a virtual attendant on a screen, which caused long wait times. Considering this was the most expensive hotel we stayed at (almost $200 a night), it was disappointing, especially since the cheapest hotel on our trip ($60/night) offered much better breakfast and customer service. The pool was also closed during our stay so amenities were lacking.
