"The room was very clean, but the floor in front of the door was damp, I'm guessing from the air conditioner but maybe because it rained. The front desk staff was kind, the air conditioning worked well but was very loud in our room. Breakfast was lacking but I guess what you'd expect for continental."

"Great place to stay!!! We have family in the area and visit as often as we possibly can. We've tried several hotels in the area. Once we booked at this Clarion hotel, we found THE BEST home away from home while in Gonzales. Awesome restaurant in hotel too !!"

"No complaints other than not being able to check in until the exact check-in time. I couldn’t even get a room 10 minutes early. I called prior to see if there was early check in available. I got there about an hour early and the room wasn’t ready. We took the kids to the beach to wait and I would check back every 15 or 20 minutes. At one point I stood in line wet from the beach for about 10 minutes because there was only one person at the desk only to be told it still wasn’t ready. I saw several other people getting keys so I don’t know what the problem was."
