"I think when you check in it should be explained that the credit card that you ask for to be held in case of any charges that could be made.. is charged $100.00 to your credit card and not immediately reversed.
When I called and asked about it after seeing it on my statement, the person I spoke to said she’d have someone call me to explain when the $100.00 would come off my cc. I never received a call back. Very disappointed"
"The location of this little motel is perfect if you're taking the ferry to Block Island the next day. It's just two miles from the ferry port. We would have enjoyed staying here even if we were not going to Block Island, though—it's sparkling clean with a ton of little touches that turn a nice motel into a great one. There are towel bars and hooks in all the right places, and even an electrical outlet at the top of the refrigerator for plugging in an electric cooler or whatever else you need to charge. Comfortable beds, everything in the room worked properly, and the ocean beach is just across the road. We ended up staying here twice because our ferry got canceled for weather, and we were very happy each time."

"Immaculately clean, gorgeous view of pond, nice deck and chairs, adorably decorated, even better than photos, has everything you need, smart use of the space, great communication with host, great restaurants and lots to do nearby - Newport, Block Island, beaches, etc. Coast Guard House restaurant was fantastic! My sister and I had a lovely 3 night stay and hope to stay there again soon. Thanks so much!"
