Today it is a small agricultural business with lavender fields, olive groves and beekeeping. Fresh honey is always available. The apartment (60 m²) is part of the large main house. This includes a winter garden (25 m²) that separates both parts of the house. A large garden adjoins the house, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the village with its castle ruins and the surrounding landscape. A fantastic place to stay for a quiet and romantic holiday. It is furnished to a very high standard with lots of nice personal touches. There is a well stocked and modern kitchen if you wish to do your own cooking. The host was very helpful if you needed any assistance but respected your privacy. Durban Corbieres is a very good location for exploring this part of France and the village itself has a well stocked supermarket and a little market on Wednesday morning with fruit and vege and artisan products.
