View on the canal. . Living room with lounge and TV . Fully equipped kitchen: oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, vacuum cleaner, washing machine. . Private terrace overlooking the canal du midi with table, chairs, garden furniture, barbecue and parasol. . 3 triple rooms with bed of 160 cm, bed of 90 cm and cupboard of storage with wardrobe. Of which 2 with en-suite shower room. . 1 bedroom sleeps 5 with 1 bed 160 cm, 3 beds of 90 cm and cupboard with wardrobe. . 1 common shower room with shower. . Services included in the price: cleaning at the end of the stay, bathroom linen, linen set bed made upon arrival. . Non smoking cottage. Our animal friends are not accepted. This former coaching inn from the mid-eighteenth century, forgotten and overgrown by vegetation for some decades, did not even appear to boaters sailing on the Canal du Midi. But the house had charm and it became for a decade a high place of gastronomy. Ten years later new owners fell in love with the place who decided to add rooms and cottages. The whole was beautifully renovated, combining the authenticity of old stones with the comfort of today. It is in this enchanting place where plane trees bring freshness and shading that we offer 4 lodgings 3 ears. Ses murs épais et les volets protègent des fortes chaleurs. Le petit jardin personnel est un plus. Nous avons adoré la propriété et sa piscine bien entretenue et bien rafraîchissante. Le lieu est un point de départ idéal pour des ballades le long du Canal du Midi, pour visiter des villes telles que Narbonne, Béziers, Minerve, Carcassonne, Gruissan et j'en passe... Wir haben die Wohnung mit vier Schlafzimmern für insgesamt 8 Personen gebucht. Vier Erwachsene und vier Kinder. Für diese Anzahl war wirklich reichlich Platz in diesem schönen Haus. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist hochwertig, wie auch auf den Bildern zu sehen. Um das Haus befindet sich eine wunderbare Anlage mit Pool, Bowleplatz, Schaukeln und viel Grünfläche. Die Lage am Canal du Midi mit einer alten Steinbrücke ist einfach nur schön. Man kann den Freizeitkapitänen zuschauen, wie sie routiniert durch die Brücke mit unveränderter Fahrgeschwindigkeit hindurchfahren oder auch den weniger professionellen Bootsführern, die gegen die Steineinfassung fahren. Kein Licht ohne Schatten: Das Haus liegt andererseits auch an einer Bundesstraße – was man eben auch merkt. Drei Schlafzimmer haben die Lage zur Hofseite oder haben ein Dachfenster – wo kein oder nur geringster Straßenlärm zu bemerken war. Im oberen Schlafzimmer war der Straßenverkehr zu hören. Die Matratzen waren im übrigen sehr gut. Den Pool konnten wir aufgrund der Jahreszeit noch nicht nutzen und können diesen von daher auch nicht bewerten. Das Fehlen einer Toilette in der ersten Etage machte sich durchaus bemerkbar. So muss man dazu vom Schlafzimmer (oder auch Wohnzimmer) immer in das Erdgeschoss gehen. Dieser Toilettenraum ist nicht beheizbar. Im März war dies selbst in Südfrankreich als Mangel zu empfinden. Unser Flieger ging erst mit über vier Stunden Verspätung von Berlin ab. Drei davon saßen wir im Flugzeug und es bewegte sich nichts. Die Verspätung haben wir dem Vermieter mitgeteilt. Nach Übernahmerverzögerung beim Mietauto und einem Kind, was nicht mehr in der besten körperlichen Verfassung war (Erbrechen und Diarrhoe) wurde der Vermieter leider noch ausfällig. Er beschimpfte uns schon per Mail, dass wir ihn absichtlich warten lassen würden und noch schön Essen gegangen wären! Eine unangenehme Entgleisung des Vermieters! Das hat uns nach allen Schwierigkeiten noch die letzte Urlaubslaune gekostet! Endlich am Ort wurden wir vom Vermieter dann ins Haus eingewiesen, wo er seine üble Art nicht noch einmal an den Tag legte. Um den Vermieter nicht noch weiter auf die Palme zu bringen – haben wir eine vom ersten Tag an defekte Mikrowelle nicht gemeldet (erst zum letzten Tag). Wir wollen bei der Bewertung die unangenehmen, subjektiven Einflüsse weitestgehend außen vor lassen und vergeben dennoch vier Sterne. ##### Rico O. Stayed 7 nights in Mar 2018 ---
