The house was in a great location, with Vanderbilt Beach just a 5-minute drive away. Overall Notes: Cute little house with great amenities and great location. Much cuter and more spacious than it looks in pictures. Very private outdoor pool area is fantastic!Highlights:- Communication with owner was excellent.- Plenty of towels and beach gear provided.- Comfortable beds.- Much more spacious than shown in pictures.- Great location in town.Would have given a six star rating if the following were improved:- Cleanliness upon arrival; since this location allows pets we did detect a bit of a dog smell and found some pet hair on the carpet. As non-pet owners this felt a little bit less than clean to us.- Quality of bed linens; pillows were not that comfortable and the sheets did not breathe very well. Could be improved a bit here.- Living Room; furniture felt a bit old and was not that comfortable to live in. Decor amd overall feel in living room was not to the standard of the very cute bedrooms and bathroom.- Pool heat: pool was not to temp when we arrived however the owner helped us get the pool to temp quickly. But it did take away from the experience as we were not able to use the pool comfortably until about 24 hours after arrival. Overall this place is a diamond in the rough. Highly recommended. We had such a wonderful stay over the 4th of July weekend! The house was exactly as described: cute, colorful, and surrounded by lush greenery. It was the perfect size for our family, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time together.One of our favorite features was the fully fenced yard that gave us such peace of mind letting our dog roam and play safely. Our daughter absolutely loved the pool, and it was such a nice bonus that the house had plenty of fun floats ready to use!Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, and everything was just as pictured and promised. We enjoyed the backyard pool and lush backyard. The beach is a short drive away and the pass to Wiggins Park was a nice convenience. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities.
