More kitchen utensils seem to have been available this time.One visitor is highly allergic to feather pillows, so he had a few problems the first night, but was able to find non-feather pillows for the rest of the stay.Condo very well situated in the town. There were no adequate pots to boil past, no cooking trays, no basic condiments like salt and pepper, very few towels, the walls were scuffed up in multiple areas, as was the furniture. When we contacted the vendor, she would not bring over cooking supplies until the next day and she said something like, "Oh, but a whole new set of pots has been ordered", which is no help for us. The cost was way over what the amenities were. We were also dissapointed to hear that other residents in the building were allegedly not allowed to have short stay rental guests, but require to do 30 days or more. Somehow this seller has been able to rent out the space beyond what the building allows. This does not seem ethical. We would encourage others to avoid this property. On the plus side, the floors, counter tops, beds, and bathrooms were clean (excluding the dirty/scuffed walls and chipped furniture). ##### Joseph P. The town is also very beautiful. It was great to be so close to A.M.U. Especially since I have a little boy and needed the space. I plan to stay here for the next 4 years while visiting. Kelly, the property manager was so informative and friendly. Mary was also great and replied right away to any questions I had. I felt like this was my home away from home. The salads and smoothies at Tropical Smoothie were really good. Our family loved staying here. Thank You to the owners of this apartment and renting it out. We had 2 adults and 3 children, and the space was plentiful. It was very clean, furniture and appliances were new. The condo and parking were very secure, even though the community is very safe and very friendly. It is an especially nice place if you happen to be Catholic, as there is a gorgeous church across the street, and there are shops and bookstores with religious items within a block. A grocery store is a walk away if you wish to cook, or there is a pub with family seating, a pizza place, a great coffee shop, and a smoothie shop all within a 3 minute walk. The beach is about a 40-50minute drive. There is a water park reserved for community members or renters that is not crowded and lots of fun for toddlers to adults- a 5 minute drive. This would be a great area to bike around for fun. There is an excellent Mother Teresa exhibit that just opened recently. Even though it borders a college campus, there is not the typical loud and raucous activity one might expect. The beds were comfortable. The condo we rented was just what we were looking for. The listing description along with photos accurately reflected the condo and amenities. The property itself was clean and well maintained as well as the surrounding grounds. The owner's contact as was the on site person were extremely helpful, polite and answered all our questions in a timely manner. When it came to eating in Ave Maria we liked the Queen Mary Pub, Milano's Pizza and the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. They were all within walking distance along with Publix and the Catholic Church of Ave Maria. Walks around three of the lakes were very relaxing.
