The family does live upstairs so youre not getting total quiet. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone doing a short stay- it provided a comfy bed, a very nice bathroom, closet space and had a makeshift kitchen setup. The ONLY note I'll make is that the sound travels from upstairs, so we could hear a fair bit of movement (chairs, talking ect....) at peak hours. I didn’t interact much with the host while i was there but he did say I could ask for anything I needed. The bathroom floor looked clean but a wipe with a tissue showed hair and dirt residue. We used some paper towels (supplied) and gave the bathroom floor a complete wipe down. The coffee maker was frankly unsafe as the replacement carafe (original was not available) was to short to contact the base of the coffee basket, requiring me to hold the carafe up against the basket for the duration of the brewing. Parking was advertised as being on the left side of the driveway, however, there was the owners mini van parked in the spot. I was told to park on the street. The booking ad stated a hairdryer was supplied, however none was available. The owner eventually made on available. The bedding and towels were less than suitable.
