Finding the right reception was challenging. We were there in a slow season so the 1 st 2 reception areas were closed. Actually most things were closed. At least it was very quiet. Apukka resort had very nice Glass Igloos with beautiful surroundings. Resort had several activities offered - Husky rides, Rein deer sled rides etc. We however preferred to enjoy the already available activities like Rein deer farm viewing, Frozen lake walk, Fire camping , snow tubing , snow Sledding ...

The staff were so wonderful and helpful it made my Solo travel experience one of the most memorable trips ever. The location was perfect and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I would consider this the BEST hotel in Rovaniemi, Finland.
