The relaxing porch leads to a gorgeous beach. The interior of the house is old, but newer bathrooms - as described in the listing. The kitchen provided the basics (plates, utensils, etc) but could’ve benefited from some essentials (like dish soap and dishwasher detergent). More bath towels would’ve also been helpful. This house is obviously much older than a lot of the houses in Nags Head, and it has so much character. The modern upgrades were a nice touch. Location was great. Basic necessities were met. Repeated HVAC maintenance/repair was an issue and an interruption. Security system was a hassle, random internal beeping alarms went off repeatedly. Unable to silence, turn off completely or unplug security system. Path to the beach needs to be trimmed/pruned back. Steps and a walkway to the top of the dune would be great, like the neighbors.
