With a private pier, guests can enjoy immediate access to the Albemarle Sound (water way between the islands and mainland), which is often used by water sports enthusiasts due to the shallow waters and optimal conditions. The back deck also provides tranquil opportunities to enjoy morning coffees to water views while nestled under the awning, sunbath on the sundeck, or take advantage of the on-deck furniture to enjoy a grilled meal (grill is also provided) while watching the sunset. This Outer Banks rental home provides four bedrooms with bedding to fit a variety of family sizes. Take your pick from two sound-front queen bedrooms with water views, a spacious queen bedroom with mini library for the avid reader, and a kids room with twin bunk and additional twin bed, with all rooms featuring a smart TV with streaming! The large great room features gorgeous, panoramic water views, a vaulted ceiling with wooden finish, all wood flooring, granite kitchen countertops and fully stocked kitchen, water-side dining, and immediate slider-door access to the back, water-front deck. As for the back deck, you'll enjoy built-in deck seating, rocking chairs, a covered deck that opens into a sun-deck, and amazing water views (as well as gorgeous sunsets). The open back yard then leads to a bulkhead with mini boardwalk attached to a long pier. Enjoy fishing and crabbing from the pier with built in seating. There is ladder access from when you want to take a sound-side swim or boarding a kayak, and the pier features plenty of raised pilings for tying off your boat! If bringing a boat, you'll have access to a community boat ramp ($45 per boat plus $10 key deposit) and will have the freedom to explore the large body of water known as the Albemarle Sound! Old Nags Head Cove is a wonderful OBX sound-front community with boating canals and has a central Nags Head location that is close to the beach (w/ lighted pedestrian cross-way), Jockey's Ridge Dunes (featuring a new bike path leading there), restaurants, historical sites like the Wright Brothers Memorial and Bodie Island Lighthouse, Outlet Mall Shopping, water sports, and so much more to keep entertained for your entire stay! All of our homes in the Old Nags Head Cove Community have access to the ONHC Clubhouse which offers a Nags Head Sound-Front pool for $6 per person per day or $135 for the entire week for a group up to 6\. The association also offers a club house, sound front picnic area, sound front basketball & volleyball court, a boat ramp on Albacore St ($45 per boat plus $10 key deposit), and a private sound-front beach access area. The property looks unassuming from the outside but it's just perfect. The inside is one big room and then four bedrooms, two on each side of the main room and two bathrooms.
