The kids settled right in and were excited to set up their beds the way they like them. It was so comfortable and easy to cook the majority of our meals there. We played outside a lot and when kt was too hot did puzzles on the floor and colored at the kitchen tables. It was so relaxing. The bedrooms get HOT! The A/C unit in the living room helps but the bedrooms get stuffy if you keep the doors closed. We had a couple of fans and kept the bedroom door opened so that helped. The location of the cabin was great. So many trails and natural sites within arms reach! We had a blast. The two local restaurants we visited were stupendous as well. Wonderful stay. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and basic seasonings. My only complaint would be the motion-activated patio light mounted on the small shed next to the cabin. While sitting on the patio furniture at night, the big light on the cabin could be turned off by the switch, but the motion activated one on the shed kept flicking on every time I moved.
