This place was great! The host was very responsive and super accommodating. In November we had asked about a Christmas tree, to see if there would be one at the house since we were staying over Christmas. They informed us they didn’t have plans of a tree, but would let us know. I was then messaged in minder about 2 weeks before our trip to let us know they had gotten not only one, but TWO Christmas trees for the house! Over and beyond great service. They even went to the house before our arrival and had the fireplace going and Christmas lights on. The hot tub was great, fire pit was awesome, and you can’t beat the views. “The woodshed” bar and grill is only about 4-5 mins away and had awesome drinks and yummy food. I would highly highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet cozy get away
Great home, clean and spacious. We had out of town family stay for a wedding located 6 min down the road. It was close and convenient. Hosts were very easy to book with and very communicative and responsive.
We rented this house based on the location and size. We loved the large living area and the hot tub was lovely. We were able to play board games and have a puzzle going. We also had room for a toddler and a large dog to enjoy floor space. The owner was very nice and helpful.
We were expecting to have the ability to sleep 10, not 8. Because they started having a "caretaker" the rental changed from 10 to 8. We only needed room for 8 to sleep but we had two singles who needed separate sleeping areas. We had to move a mattress into the living area, which was very inconvenient. I was very disappointed we didn't have separate space I was expecting.
The location was lovely and access to lots of places to hike or go snowshoeing.
We missed some of the typical items you would find in a rental- pizza cutter, 9x 13 pan, but the kitchen had lots of counter space and a great stove.
It was odd to share the laundry/ entry area with the caretaker and children. It was not unusual to see them at the laundry tub cleaning dishes. At anytime they had access to our space and our stuff. This is an unusual situation and you should be aware that you are sharing space with unknown room mates.
The house was perfect for the holiday weekend—the living space was all on the second floor with a nice view of the river. Nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away for a group of 8, with a kid and dogs. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking for a group. The fire pit overlooking the river was a plus... and there was plenty of grass for the dogs to run around. Would come back again!

Love the River
Great area beautiful property but you come down a longer private road and the neighboring property is pretty ugly - I am sure owners upset but helpless - just doesn't give the rest of the property the due it deserves

Glorious setting!
All eight of us had an awesome time at the house, and the best part for me was being lulled to sleep on the deck by the sounds of the river rolling by, and the wind in the aspens.

Relaxing
The house is as advertised with plenty of room in the open family room/kitchen. Plenty of eating areas (table, bar/island, covered deck). Great stove & grill for those who enjoy cooking. Enough room in yard to play around for kids & dog. Had a chance to see the Elk nearby and take a nice walk and drives along some of the National Forest roads.

Lovely, comfortable cabin experience
My family was very impressed with Beth’s place. The common area was quiet large, with a lovely kitchen and very nice leather and wood furniture. The pictures don’t do justice to the style and comfort this cabin offers. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, play games, watch a movie, or just watch for wildlife. Each bedroom was comfortable, and the master suite in particular was spacious, with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The hot tub was perfect, and we spent several enjoyable evenings sitting in light snow outside in the bubbling water. The kids enjoyed some adventures walking up river and exploring in the snow. On the whole we were very impressed and would love to stay here again.

Great family celebration!
The Naches River House worked perfectly for our family of 8! Its hard to find houses with enough bedrooms with queen beds, but we found this gem! We stayed on property and enjoyed all the house had to offer - cozy hot tub, big gathering great room/kitchen, warm wood stove and the beauty of the outdoors (the river was running furiously full and fast). We talked about how fun it also must be in the summer months. We recommend this setting and would stay again!

Great base for weekend adventure
Beautiful spot just along the river. Fell asleep every night listening to the water. The location was close enough to be convenient but far enough to feel away from it all. The house was well-stocked and maintained. The kids and dog had a great time!

good getaway spot for family gathering
The Naches River House worked extremely well for our family gathering which included both grandchildren and dogs. The house was very clean and ALL our necessary needs were provided ( the kitchen was well "stocked" and lots of towels etc.) . The best part of this property for us was the proximity to the river. At the door step was fishing and playing in the river. Then at night there was only the river's song in the quiteness of starry skies. Although there were neighbors, the house was at the end of the road so there was an an unobstructed view of the river. Also appreciated the available grassy area where we pitched a couple of small tents and the large front porch and inside open living area which nicely extended the living space for a large group.
We discovered the area offered good opportunity for side trips . Great swimmng holes on the Little Naches River and hikes at Sunrise on Mt. Rainier.
. Great memories were made here on the Naches River .

Quiet River Retreat
We had a wonderful stay! Property owners were a pleasure to deal with.
We had two coaches families staying here for a soccer tournament. Little bit of a drive, but worth it! Plus it's a scenic route to Yakima. The river was always bubbling in the back ground and we all had plenty of room. Bedrooms were spacious and the house has almost two master suites. :) Great stay! One of the most relaxing vacations I've had. Will definitely be back for when we have another soccer tournament.
