Excellent value for money.

Posted 10-Jul-2017
Pros: it is great value for money. I notably like the roominess of everything, the rooms, beaches, dining areas.
Cons: I do not see anything needs improvement.
Location: there are some stores like a pharmacy, supermarkets, souvenir stores across from the hotel.
I went their on solo vacation. I visited this hotel back in 2011 that is why I went back. it is very convenient for solo vacationers. it has outstanding service, nice staff, spacious, clean rooms with awesome sea or pool views, great food. Very reasonably priced in comparison to other relatively highly rated hotels. free snacks and soft drinks all day long. Wide sandy beach, 2 or 3 pools. I highly recommend this hotel.

Highly recommended, great stay, friendly staff

Radisson Blu resort at Sharm El-Sheikh became my favorite place to stay while I am in Egypt. Starting with the check-In which did not take more that 15 minutes, and the front office staff was so welcoming and invited us to have breakfast until they deliver our luggages to the room. The resort is comfy and clean. Of course, super friendly staff. We booked the Marine Club room as usual and the room was so clean and closed to the beach and the pools. The restaurants at open all day with variety of delicious dishes. Wonderful view and the landscaping is amazing. The hotel general manager and all staff were like a family to us. Definitely will be back soon to our favorite place in Sharm.. thanks very much to every staff at Radisson

Convenient Value

I enjoyed my time! Beach was great! I got to everything i needed too so easily!!!! The staff though stands out over the facilities. I hate that people have stopped coming to Sharm. This was a treat! The greens on the buffet were fantastic so were the made to order cooking stations. The other food was ok...always one stand out awesome dish and a several that were just ok. That was fine with me! How much food do you need? Eat the great stuff and pass on the ok stuff. The excursions were all great except the bedouin dinner had too much down time. I cannot say more about the staff. I would come back just for them.

Great snorkeling

Posted 24-Sep-2016
Pros: The staff were friendly and the snorkeling was great.
Cons: I think that the management needs to notice the details - mold in the showers, shower door doesn't close all the way, and the curtains cannot close.
My husband thought that the reef was one of the best that he had snorkeled at - very colorful and lots of fish. The rooms were nice size and the bed was comfortable. However, the shower needed to be cleaned better - black around the edges and it leaked so that our floor would be extra wet. Also, we could not get the curtains to the sliding glass door closed all the way so I never felt like that I had the privacy I wanted especially being on the ground floor.

Great for water, terrible for food

Posted 17-Sep-2016
Pros: Location Service Pool and beach Snorkelling Friendly staff
Cons: Food quality Cleanliness especially in food serving areas (dining room) Wine selection and quality/taste
We spent a long weekend in a Marine room (recommended for easy access to the beach and a private patio) and although our room was not as requested (2 twins instead of a king which was promised but never switched or fixed), it was comfortable. The food however is another matter: salt & pepper shakers, handles, tables, etc were filthy at breakfast regardless of the time we arrived. Food quality was acceptable and fairly fresh, but lacked flavour and variety. The Italian restaurant (the only other option besides another buffet for supper FYI) "il grotto" is closed on Saturdays which is never mentioned in their literature or signage: that was disappointing. We had to leave the premises for our first night's supper. Thankfully staff was mostly helpful and very friendly. When we did eat at Il Grotto, our pizzas were on a frozen pre made base and the pasta was tough. Canned veggies and rubbery cheese in salads and as toppings made things worse. Avoid all food at this Rad Blu - we are so glad we didn't pay for the all-inclusive! And room service took two hours, then was incorrect... After four phone calls later we had something resembling what we had ordered... So if you bring your own food and drink, or eat elsewhere, you will enjoy your time here.
