"This is a good hotel that is having trouble keeping up standards. The staff are usually very helpful, and the beach is one of the best. However, so many small things were annoying. Even as we arrived, the receptionist had written down our room number ambiguously in a way that caused us and the porter to go to the wrong room. The first few days were hot even by Tunisian standards and the room air conditioning could not cope. It was always too loud, but at least was fine as the temperature dropped. Food smells were strong from the balcony or the halls. The shower door allowed water to flood out after use - this was fixed after we complained, but proof of poor maintenance. Our room card stopped working after exactly seven days - even though the hotel knew how long we were staying. If their policy is just to grant seven days access they must tell us surely? One of the most annoying things was the ATM never worked for us, or anyone else. This would be no issue in many places, but the Steigenberger is isolated and needs a drive to get to a working ATM in the town. The basic standard of the food was fine, but there was a lack of actual Tunisian food in favour of bland euro stuff. Unforgivably, there was no decent coffee - only instant Nescafe - completely unforgivable in a country with good coffee, For this reason alone, I won't return. We think the small beach restaurant gave us a stomach bug from hygiene problems. These could all be fixed, but limit your stay until then!"

"Hotel was clean and all taxi drivers know its location . Room was spacious and comfortable. It had a nice beach and beach bar. The breakfast was reasonable. The restaurant onsite was expensive but there is lots of nice restaurants within 15 minutes walk in the center villa. Internet was slow. The ac was good here."

"Absolutely exceptional stay at La Badira. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and professional, and the level of service was outstanding throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and elegant, with a truly wonderful atmosphere. The pool area and the views are simply stunning, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with an excellent selection. Every detail made our stay special. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our experience so memorable. We would gladly come back and highly recommend La Badira to anyone visiting Hammamet!"

"The hotel has very good and clean facilities, with three swimming pools, a private beach, and plenty of activities, especially for children. The food is average and somewhat repetitive. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and I would especially like to mention Hamza, one of the reception staff. The location is excellent, close to the marina, the corniche, Carthage Land, and the Aqua Park"

"Pros: amazing staff like Sonia at the lobby, Saad at the restaurant or Afaf at the SPA. Always willing to help out and make sure all our needs are fulfilled in time. Nice pool, amazing beach at a short walk or free shuttle. Plenty of food options at the restaurant at all times. Nice room with AC and daily housekeeping. Many more pros… Cons: need some crowd control at the restaurant with children running. Need more AC at the restaurant. One time the pool should have been shut down for cleaning during the day but didn’t. Need snack options at the beach and a bit more lounges. The biggest downside was the animation which I think was not to the standard of the hotel and its amenities, all three: at the pool, at the beach, and especially at night. We had to go out couple times due to very standard shows with loud music and dances. We also couldn’t sleep because of the loud music all day long from 9am to 11:30pm I recommend this hotel for families"

"Very well organized and very clean. Family run and very hospitable... Excellent staff working professionally not even found in a 5 star hotel. They also use correctly a gov. bank to change money! The dining with an excellent chef with a varied menu from pizza to quail. Brilliant wine list, beers, soft drinks. Water is in glass bottles instead of plastic! The beach club on the best beach in Hammamet Sud. All in all many resorts dont have this service. They should receive an award!"
