"I received several emails from the hotel, but I think the instructions for checking in could have been more helpful. Maybe I missed it, but I don’t remember reading that I had to drive up to the main building to check in and get keys. And I don’t think it was clear that I had to scan my key after 10pm to gain entry into the building. And when I checked in, I was charged $58 (not $40) for resort fees. I was told that Hotel.com never gets the fee right. Other than that, the condition of the room was very nice. Tasteful, updated and had what I needed for my stay. The TV kept freezing up, but it was ok. I would stay here again. Hopefully next time, I have time to visit the restaurant."

"We really enjoyed our family reunion / vacation at the beach house in Holgate. Being able to walk to the water in about 5-6 minutes with kids was super. The weather was very pleasant (only an afternoon of rain) and we spent hours swimming and boogie boarding. The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous! The three bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect for us. I loved the outdoor shower. Host Lisa was very friendly, responsive, and welcoming and seemed to truly hope that we'd have a memorable stay at her place. She worried that we might be a large group for a not-so-large house. It ended up being a really nice, cozy space for our card-playing sessions and cooking and family meals. The house came equipped with all that we needed and we all seemed to feel very much at home at 17 W. Cleveland!"

"Excellent host. Easy checkin. Host always responded quickly to questions. Went out of way to accommodate. Had a crib and pack n play when requested. House could have been stocked more in kitchen. Had to go buy some things to cook with. Over all had a great stay. House was wonderful."

"The house was clean and charming. The host provided a well stocked kitchen- we used the coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and one of the pans for a burger night. The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and comfortable. The decor was welcoming and theme was of the ocean, which was beyond words beautiful. The deck was lovely, and the deck furniture was perfect. I loved sitting on the deck each morning to sip coffee and get the early morning sunshine. The Jersey shore is stunning, A lovely neighbor recommended Surf City beach, and we were overjoyed with how easy it was to park once we arrived. The living room was cozy as well. We hated to leave, and have already discussed returning to the area. Tuckerton provided Union Market for breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and coffee. Dockside was great too- hearty breakfast and live band. Our first night's dinner was at Surfside (byob), which did not disappoint. I purchased local honey and a homemade pie and salad at one of the local shops. We also enjoyed using the kayaks. We all had a wonderful visit, and would love to go back again."

"We had an excellent stay. The house is huge and beautiful. The owners go above and beyond to make sure anything you want or need is at the house for you to use. I’ve stayed in many bay/beach houses over the years and none can compare. Literally bring food and a toothbrush and you’re set for your stay. The owner was very quick to respond to every question or request I had. Highly recommend."

"Wow! Wow! News to travel across country. Short notice for family event. Found this location. My family loved it. Clean, beautiful design, all the necessities plus some real nice to haves. Kayaks. Crab pot, Grill, BBQ and amazing views. By far the best short term rental I’ve ever rented. John is amazing to work with. Quick responses to questions. And perfectly detailed. Enjoy!!!"
