Mystic Creek Golf Club and Banquet Center

I booked my room 3 weeks in advance. The week of my trip Indiana went through a natural disaster, we had severe flash flooding, many tornado warnings, and extreme thunderstorms. I tried to contact Trumbull and Porter 3 days before my stay. Everyday leading up to my trip i was unable to get into contact with anyone at the front desk, and general manager ( i called his GM line, and left an email) no response at all. I am very disappointed as this was one of the highest rated hotels in the area. Sad to see they have no empathy for their customers that are in an unfortunate situation, and would rather have them risk their lives driving through cities that are halfway submerged under water.

It was a great time. Motor city lacks two things, live entertainment and more casual sit down dinning. It was mostly clean but some dirty areas. Staff was great

When we arrived to our room there was still food in the fridge from the previous guests but we alerted staff who promptly took care of it. There was no soap in the bathroom which they also fixed but no soap in the kitchen. The towel hook was falling off the wall in the bathroom and there was a large gap at the bottom of the room door so we could clearly hear conversations in the room across the hall (we actually thought people were in the hall because the conversation was so loud). Overall the space was nice and large and was clean and looked up to date. Staff was friendly and helpful.
