Top Myrtlebank Hotel Reviews

The Matador

The Matador

8/10 Good
"No elevator and the stairs are steep and awkward, especially with luggage. Room was musty - probably due to dust high up in the ceiling beams. Dated interior but clean and beds were comfy. We couldn’t get the TV to work on the free to air channels - the ‘fix’ given to us by the manager (turn it off and on again) did not work - luckily a previous guest had signed into nine now so we were able to watch that. Location is a little noisy being close to the main Sale thoroughfare. We also had some inconsiderate neighbours who talked very loudly late at night as they made their way back to their rooms. The complimentary continental breakfast was plentiful with an array of options and good coffee which the staff kept stocked and cleared efficiently,"

"The Peppertree Apartments were in a quiet residential area adjacent to the main business centre. The apartment was clean and functional with a separate bedroom. We were on the upstairs level, necessitating climbing a steel staircase from the carpark. Parking was mostly committed by others, so we parked in the street."

Bon Accord

Bon Accord

10/10 Excellent
"ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC ACCOMMODATION, QUALITY AND VALUE AT REASONABLE RATES!!! The premises are spotless, the unit has everything you could possibly need and more. So much thought and effort has been put into making your stay comfortable, warm and cosy. The bed was clean, fresh and comfortable, with electric blankets and bedside lights. There was a fully equipped kitchenette with luxury appliances, cutlery, microwave, tea towels and washing liquids available. The bathroom, although compact, was completely functional, clean fresh towels with complimentary shampoos/conditioner/soap and hair dryer. A spacious shower with overhead and handheld shower heads, good water pressure with hot water constantly flowing. Floor heating with reverse cycle air conditioning made our middle of winter stay, very comfortable. We will certainly be staying there again, and we fully recommend Bon Accord to anyone looking for quality and value for money with a delightful host. Also, as we were in Sale earlier than the official sign in time, we contacted our host Tim at Bon Accord to see if there was any chance of leaving our luggage with them and register in later (as we needed an empty boot for walkers, etc., during the day). Tim couldn’t have been be more helpful if he tried! As our room was already made up for us, we were able to leave everything under lock and key for the day. We were so grateful that he understood our dilemma and helped us out so graciously on the day. Thank you!"
