AMAZING VIEWS

The view at Surf Master was better than any we've experienced in the Surfside/Garden City area. The location was perfect for our interests (shopping and fishing). It was a short drive to entertainment and great restaurants.

Great beach vacation!

We wanted to visit the Myrtle Beach area, but didn’t want Myrtle Beach itself. Surfside Beach was a great choice. The condo was great. Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Great balcony views. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub out front. Ken was a great host. I would definitely visit this condo again.

Excellent vacation week

We were impressed as soon as we walked into the condo by how clean it was. The carpets had been freshly shampooed and everything was spotless. Having a one year old with us that is crawling, we were not hesitant at all to put her down to crawl. The property owner was quick to respond to any questions that I had. Looking forward to staying again.

Wonderful views

The views were awesome! The beds were very comfortable. Internet handled all our streaming needs. The kitchen had plenty of most items but was lacking tall glasses. The measuring spoon and cup sets were not complete so we left the sets we bought. The patio door in the bedroom is not airtight making that room susceptible to noises like the trash truck. Overall we loved our visit.

A great stay!

We had such a wonderful time at this property. Ken was very communicative and responded very quickly to all my silly questions on our road trip down to SC. The condo was very clean and the view was amazing. I would have liked to see some staple items like salt and pepper and an extra garbage bag, but we have been using VRBO for years and I know each property is a little different with what they offer. Overall this condo was perfect for my family, well located and exactly what we expected from the discription. We highly recommend it!

New tradition

Our family has been coming to the Myrtle beach area for over 10 4 th of July holidays so we decided to switch location and we loved if. 3 bedrooms and baths —neat clean spacious. Large balcony and location sold us on coming back -/new tradition

The place was great!. It was clean and large. You had a lot of room. You are on the fourth floor and ocean front. The pictures are exactly what it looks like. I recommend renting this place. My family is renting this place again in 2024.

Lovely property with fabulous view. Only negative was balcony seating. One of lounge chairs was broken. Could use updating to match updates in condo. Will probably return next year. Overall a great vacation place.

Lovely Unit, Wonderful Location

This condo is extremely spacious and features a spectacular floor to ceiling views of the Atlantic. As for location, you couldn’t ask for better. Surfmaster somehow manages to be a larger building with a small building feel. The unit is clean, well stocked and maintained. Ken is an excellent host and easy to work with.

Nice but

Light switches, Omgoodness there seemed to be a million of them. Would have been nice if they were labeled. Washer and dryer, I didn’t know they made stackables with such tiny. Master shower stall leaked and the bedroom with the twin beds needs a new shower head and the carpet looked bad. It was nice all in all.

Surfmaster Vacation

Overall impression of our stay at Surfmaster, Rm. 414, was great. 4th floor was perfect height. Communication with Property Manager was good. If anything - living room and balcony furniture could use some updating, but it's not horrible. Also, hard to regulate water temperature in master shower. It's either hot or cold, hard to get the temperature in the middle. I really have no major complaints, though. The stay was great. We would stay there again.

Home

We made our first big family vacation since we were kids. This was wonderful getting my brothers together with their families to spend some quality time together with our mother! Will absolutely be looking into future vacations to the beach. The pier is wonderful and not too far away if you like fishing, live music and complete beach access. There's even 2 arcades for playing games. The host was attentive and very responsive to our endless questions. The balcony was wonderful to sit on and listen to the waves any time of day. We were on the 4th floor on an end unit so we weren't disturbed by people walking around. We slept with our balcony doors open all night to let the ocean breeze in. Such a wonderful experience and reasonably priced!! We honestly felt at home here.

Great location, on the beach

Dining room furniture is old and the chairs have wheels, that mark up the floor. The 2 chair that didn’t have wheels are falling apart. Living room furniture is very old and kind of dirty. Had to kill 2 live palmetto bugs. The bedroom with the twin beds doesn’t get the same temp as the main area. Very very warm. Light in the refrigerator was out. Even with all that, we still had a good time.

Should have been better for the price

We stayed in this unit the last 2 weeks in March. We were very happy with the location and the view is great however we were very disappointed in the condition of the unit when we arrived. I contacted the property manager and he explained that it was last cleaned in November prior to a couple arriving that ended up not coming so it hadn't been cleaned since. Some of the things we found were not a result of it just not being cleaned for 4 months. The unit just wasn't cleaned properly at all. It should have been checked and freshened up prior to our arrival. I gave the manager a chance to respond to the following items before I posted this but he did not respond so here's the list:We found a cockroach in the cupboard amongst the drinking glasses.The mess of wires and cables under tv is very unsightly and the stand is ready to collapseFilthy chairs on balconyShower had black mold around bottomShower door in the master feels like it's going to fall offBatteries in the thermostat were deadNo mop available for touch-upTable was dirty with greasy handprintsThe hallway ceiling light doesn't work. Can't see the washer and dryer very well when using them.Night light bulbs were blown.Dusty, dirty floorsShower in master dirty, black mildew around bottomWe borrowed a mop from my sister-in-law so we could mop up something that looked like spilled milk.There's more but you get the picture. For the price all of this should have been checked and addressed prior to our arrival.

Place was nice property owner not very accommodating!!

I booked for May 2022 back in June 2021. Paid a deposit thru VRBO. Back in Feb 2022 paid the balance in full. 2 weeks before vacation I messaged the owner about getting the keys, never answered back. I called him a few days later and he tried to tell me my reservation was Sat-Sat. I sent him a screenshot that it was Friday-Friday. He said no way it was Double booked. He sent me a signed contract with a ladies name who was not me. He obviously had to honor mine as I paid and booked way before her. You Would think he would of compensated us something being he put me thru hell 2 weeks before vacation. He told me he would refund my money and I could find another place for 8 of us to stay 1 week before vacation. Not very professional. Once we got there 3 days in we had no cable. I messaged him and he gave me a number to call. Ummm that’s your responsibility not mine. I asked a maintenance gentleman if he could help us since the property owner did nothing and he came up called the spectrum company for us and the owner didn’t pay the bill😡. I called him and of course it was not his fault. I hung up. Never called to tell us he took care of it or too apologize. Place was nice, beautiful view but would NEVER BOOK THRU HIM AGAIN. He took no responsibility for anything

DELIGHTFUL VACATION

Two of our group had never been to the beach. This condo was perfect for beach lovers - especially new beach lovers. The balcony was the perfect height for enjoying the ocean during beach breaks. This building had very simple, quick access to the beach. This condo was quite luxurious. The kitchen was easy and efficient to use. A bathroom for each bedroom was wonderful. We used the washer/dryer every day. A beautifully decorated, clean condo is important to me and this condo was both. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect vacation spot with comforts of home!

Great location with everything you need included to make meals or a short walk away to nice family restaurants. Each bedroom having their own bathroom is a huge plus. The washer and dryer is fantastic allowing clean clothes and dry beach towels daily. Nice upgrades in entire condo.
