It's an okay place to stay. The wifi signal was very weak like we didn't get a signal at all. We had to try to connect to the hotel by us or just use the hotspot on my phonel. Whenever we took showers a wet spot would appear on the ceiling.It can use some much needed upgrades. With some upgrades it would be a great place to stay.

The stay was short. Staff was awesome. Beds could be updated and comfyier. For it being older its in decent shape, just needs some fluff and updates. The nights staff was very accomadating as was the morning staff, understanding and adaptable.

I spent all of five minutes in the room …. Just Long enough to book another location for the weekend …. The room smelled like smoke … their was people in the hall smoking weed and arguing… doors slamming bugs crawling all over the bed … I had my 8 year old son with me and refuse to stay in that room

After reading the reviews I was really hesitant on booking but we were on the 10th floor there wasn’t any odor on the hall but the room did have a mildew smell, however, the room was clean, no issues with balcony door. I was a little upset when I booked an oceanfront and got a side view but for the price couldn’t be very upset. I paid a total of $110 for 2 nights with a family of 4. Because of the reviews of no ice machine, I just bought ice in advance for our room. Also, we bought our own plates and cups. We really enjoyed our stay. If we had to stay again, we would if we were on a budget.

Booked this hotel for 4 nights, only because it was on the beach and relatively close to the main shopping / board walk area. The rooms itself were not clean. Rust marks all over. Bathroom was very tiny and taps etc were rusted. The chairs in the balcony were completely rusted. Couldnt use it. Pool was dirty too. Disappointed to see big roaches in the room and corridors. Not Recommended

The exterior of the bldg is the only positive thing about this motel. The rooms were fairly clean but are in need of extreme makeovers. The appliances are outdated. The carpet doesn’t look clean & is rolled up in lots of places. You have to track someone down to ask for additional linens for your 2nd night stay.

Horrible false advertisement dirty Motel

We stayed one night with are two younger boys. We stayed just to have a little extra fun halfway through our 15 hour road trip... we stayed because when we look up places to stay in Myrtle Beach the price was right on the money and they had the option for either a beautiful smaller outdoor pool area or an inside pool and hot tub area right on the beach. The website and pictures for this hotel look incredible for the seventy some odd dollars that was spent for one night. But upon arrival it was NOT as nice at all like what was advertised online. The little 3-foot kid pool that was outside was not even functioning it had old nasty Brown water in it. The chairs that were outside were not the nice newer chairs that were in the picture. And what really made us even more upset and the whole reason why we chose this hotel is the fact that the indoor pool and hot tub area looked great and functioning. But this was not the case we went to get in and show our kids the indoor pool area and it was closed when you peek in the windows it was not functioning it was nasty water not touch in quite some time so we couldn't even get in and use it. The hotel room didn't have a remote for the TV so they had to bring another TV up. It looked like there were bloodstains on the patio curtains and nasty I don't even know what on a shower curtain. Like you felt not clean in this place. They had fuse boxes wide open not secured. Definitely a very low and nasty Motel. Very disappointed when I could have spent 20 extra dollars for the hotel right next door that had a beautiful working hot tub and pool and it just straight look better.

By far the worse hotel

This was the worse place I’ve ever stayed in. There is no Wifi in any of the rooms or cell service so don’t go there to work as I planned on doing. The staff is rude except for the maintenance man and his wife very helpful. So dirty and the elevator broke down 3 times. The air conditioner did not work and was so Loud had to turn it off to have a conversation. Wire hanging out of the wall, metal in the light socket, the shower felt like you were being sprayed with a pressure washer. The fridge was dirty the cabinet was falling off the walls. All 5 channels worked on the tv. The door to the balcony was extremely hard to open. Was told they didn’t have any wash clothes or towels had to go buy some. Asked for a new room or a refund so I could go somewhere else they told me no to both.

I didnt like anything about the property other than how close we were to the beach other than that it was nasty we had to clean the room ourselves beware there is no refund so we had to tough it out an stay the front desk clerk was rude the best part of the stay was leaving the stove was so dity we didnt use it an that was one of the reasons i booked the room the pictures are not real the hallway smelled horrible the elevator is extremely slow I will never stay here ever again !!!

My room was sub-par,lock barely worked broken trim, broken cabinet doors, missing plaster in areas ,paint peeling, broken chairs outside, bare wires , broken light switch, one bed rocked back and forth, patio door didn’t lock, had to put piece of wood in track to lock, the smell of cleaners and/or pesticides was overwhelming , pools looked decent and great beach access, parking got difficult, not enough parking spaces

I have been staying at the sea horn property for many years, since I was a child. This year I was really disappointed. First room I got, The AC didn’t work. After the second trip to the office I was put in another room.AC worked but cleanliness was pitiful especially in the bathroom.Tv had to also be swapped. I made reservations months ahead and I was still put in a side room while many other nicer oceanfront rooms was available. I have a 3 star because the lady at the desk and the maintenance man was super nice, but as much as it breaks my heart I will not be returning here.
