This home features two fully-equipped kitchens complete with two large refrigerators, ice makers, microwaves and dishwashers, as well as two washer and dryers, central heat and air conditioning, hardwood floors, and ceiling fans. Flat screen TVs (cable), stereo with CD player, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king, eight queen, and three twin-sized beds, plus two queen sofa beds. A highchair is available for infants or toddlers. The large backyard has a private 30-by-15-foot swimming pool with large oceanfront decks and easy beach access. Other outdoor amenities include a shower with hot and cold running water and two grills. No smoking. No pets. Maximum occupancy: 25 The images and tours are provided to show the property's layout. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. The house was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and in a beautiful neighborhood. The pool area was perfect for relaxing, and access to the beach was super convenient, which made our stay even better.One area for improvement would be the mattresses and pillows in the apartment section of the house; they weren’t the most comfortable. I did mention this to the property management company, and they told me they have mattress toppers available, so I wish I had known that earlier. Also, we were told we’d receive a text when the house was ready for check-in, but we never did.Even with those small hiccups, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. Reviewer Comments: The location of the property is great. Good view of ocean with no obstacles in front. Plenty of room but two first floor rooms could do without the extra bed as it makes it very crowded. Due to crowded room able to use the closet efficiently also limited space for a dresser to store clothing. Maintenance was slow to fix small problems but staff was friendly and completed. There was a bad odor in top right bedroom and floor was mushy maybe from water and mold. Family was happy with pool and easy access to the ocean. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 20 of our family here, and the house was perfect. Plenty of space, amenities, and great location. Being part of Long Bay Estates meant quiet streets, and the beach was not overrun. House was clean, with just a few maintenance issues (front steps). Pool was wonderful, and it was cleaned twice during the week. Garden City Realty staff were awesome, extremely responsive and friendly.
