Welcome to Ocean Blue 503! We also own Ocean Blue 803, which is another 5 bedroom condo in Ocean Blue (vrbo listing # 4150070ha, https://www.vrbo.com/4150070ha). This is another 5 bedroom condo in the Ocean Blue resort on the desirable south side and above the motel next door. There are different size beds than Ocean Blue 503\. Please take a look at the photos on that listing if the bed configuration for Ocean Blue 503 isn't ideal for your group. We, the owners, self manage both of our condos. This leads to the condo being maintained better than a property that is managed by a property manager. Since we are the owners, we can quickly answer questions about the condo. The virtual tour, which was updated in 2020, allows you to virtually walk through the entire condo. Direct ocean front corner/end condo on the desirable south side of the Ocean Blue Resort. Experience one of the largest luxury condos in Myrtle Beach. On the 5th floor, 2850 sq. ft, 35 foot long, 300 sq ft ocean front balcony, 5 dedicated bedrooms, 4 full baths . Since it is an end unit, our condo spans from the street side of the building (with a private street side balcony) to the ocean side of the building (with a private oceanfront balcony). This property is very private with only 36 units......12 floors - 3 units per floor and 2 elevators. This complex, which was built in 2007, maintains a very private and exclusive feel, yet it's close to all the action Myrtle Beach has to offer! This unit is perfect for extended/multiple families. This property is outfitted with a covered parking garage and pass code locks on all common doors. Who could forget the heated indoor pool, lazy river, Jacuzzi, and outdoor oceanfront pool.....and the soft white sand and the gentle Atlantic Ocean! Our condo has spectacular views from the balconies! Since the neighboring building on the south side of our condo is only 4 stories tall, and our condo is on the 5th floor, we have incredible unobstructed views of the beach looking south from the balconies and most of the rooms in the condo! The street side balcony has a nice ocean view as well! Only the 5 bedroom condos on the south side of Ocean Blue above the 4th floor have this spectacular view of the beach. The best part is the view of the ocean from your 5th floor master suite and elegantly decorated living area. After a day at the beach basking in the warm summer sun, you'll enjoy your own wet bar, living room with flat screen TV & streaming DVD player, media room with LCD TV & streaming DVD player, and plenty of space to accommodate your family/friends. In this masterpiece, you'll find LCD TV's in all bedrooms, full size washer/dryer, free WiFi, and two refrigerators to accommodate any size parties! There is a 35 foot long private oceanfront balcony off of the master suite as well as the living room, and all bedrooms have a view of either the ocean or the grand strand! All of the bedrooms have exterior windows that allow natural light in! A second private balcony that provides spectacular street views is located off of the queen suite. This building aims to please, provides easy access for all age groups, and is handicap accessible (Note: condo contains some 34" doors and the kitchen might not be wheelchair accessible). A fully equipped kitchen, that includes 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 coffee pots, Keurig, waffle maker, crock pot, etc. Our condo contains 7 cable LCD TV's (approximately 100 channels), 2 streaming DVD players, in unit free Wifi, and in building free Wifi. This property is located on South Ocean Blvd, near 27th Ave South, in the Myrtle Beach South area. This is a quiet area at the southern end of Myrtle Beach. Banana boat rides, para-sailing, and jet ski rentals are available at Downwind Sails Watersports, a short walk down the beach. Shops, restaurants, and a movie theater are located at Market Commons, a short 2 mile drive west of the condo. Bath towels and linens are included with each rental. We attempt to keep 4 beach chairs, 4 beach towels, and a beach umbrella in the condo. We can't guarantee they will be available due to damage from prior guests. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent from the life guards in season. Ocean Blue 503 sleeps a maximum of 12 people, which assumes a mixture of adults & children. Some of the beds are not suitable for adults (ie bunk bed). Please look at the pictures and bedroom information closely. Our condo is not suitable for 12 adults. Note: fire code limits the condo to a max occupancy of 14 all 24 hours of the day, including children of all ages. Exceeding the max occupancy will result in immediate termination of the stay without any refund and additional charges to the traveler! No Motorcyles, RVs, or trailers are allowed on the property per HOA rules! No pets/animals allowed. We are a animal free property. Note: 2 vehicles can park in the attached parking garage. Plenty of space for 5 Couples and two children. Inside condo was just as pictured and very clean. The Balcony was plenty big enough with a beautiful view of ocean. My parents (both in their 80”s), my sister and her husband and myself and my husband. Amazing oceanfront condo with beautiful views. We sat for hours on the balcony or living room watching the ocean, sunrise and sunsets. Every amenity you could need was in the condo. Fantastic huge condo with the perfect layout for families and multiple people. John was a fantastic host who answered any questions we had promptly. Close to all areas we wanted to visit and easy to get around. The only suggestion we had was to maybe have a 2 inch memory foam on all the beds so that they were a bit more comfy. ##### Wendy C. My wife and I took our 3 adult children, their spouses and 3 and 1 year old grandchildren to the condo. Place was very clean and well maintained. We had plenty of room for the 10 of us. Balcony was wonderful. Kitchen had everything we needed. The two refrigerators really helped. We all used the outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub and lazy river everyday. Not crowded at all. We also went to beach everyday, not crowded on the beach either. We went back and forth a lot, left our stuff on the beach all day, no one bothered it. It was great being able to watch the parasailing and jetsking right out front everyday because the rental place was only a couple hundred yards away. Place was very convenient to playgrounds, mini golf, par 3 golf, Broadway at the Beach and the boardwalk. Everyone said they all want to go back next year. The condo was beautiful and spacious. The view from the family room/kitchen and balcony was wonderful. The kitchen is more than adequately furnished. We had a little problem with the microwave and John called me within a couple of minutes after sending him the message. The problem was resolved quickly. John’s condo was the perfect place for a family gathering. The 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and great living area gave everyone the space they needed. The view from the terrace was awesome, and beach/pool access couldn’t have been easier. The location was also perfect, close to everything. The view couldn’t get any better access to the beach was perfect. We did many tourist activities in the area. The only thing we would change is that the condo association does not recycle. Sporting two refrigerators and two dishwashers and two ovens, you could definitely entertain a large crowd here. Our only complaint was that the main living room had a very awkward furniture layout which was not great for viewing the ocean, nor was it comfortable for most to view the TV, either. Other than that, it seemed clean, well-maintained, had great amenities, and easy access to the beach. The lazy river was fun! We really enjoyed our stay. ##### Scott M. We did notice mold in the shower curtains & white coffee pot in kitchen. Our biggest issue was that the complex was not kid friendly at all. Our extremely well behaved children were constantly approached by adults asking what they were doing in the hot tub, where parents were etc. Also, the indoor heated pool was closed for maintenance half the week. My son graduated from Coastal Carolina a few years ago and we wanted to get back to the area. The 5 brs/4baths and the location by the airport worked well.
