No frills, but decent

My husband and I stayed here, along with our 2 teenage boys. Stay was pretty much as expected, though beds were really small. Not sure if the listing stated full, I typically wouldn’t stay if that’s the case but last minute and husband booked. Inside didn’t smell too good, but outside of that, was ok. Can’t beat the price for the great outside amenities and beachfront.

Myrtle Beach

Large very popular resort hotel. Older hotel that could use some updates but rooms were clean. Ocean access was terrific/ multiple pools indoor and outdoor. Good time!

Beach trip for a birthday

The location of this property, right on the beach was great. Their parking garage is accessible through a covered walkway that crosses over the main road which was great especially during heavy traffic times. Staff was friendly. Common areas were clean aside from the elevators. They need a good scrubbing along the lower walls and widows (exterior views while riding in them). We would stay there again. The indoor hot tub we used (there are 3 available) was just okay. The water looked cloudy and although the jets were fairly strong they didn't project well and there were only 2 that were located so they would hit my legs.

Great location, older hotel. Long waits for the elevator, noisy crowds in hallways late at night, uncomfortable mattress with only a top sheet and the thin waffle textured throw, no bathroom exsaust fan, no safety lock on door.
