"The staff is very helpful and attentive, the hotel is beautiful, sparkling clean and the garden is lush. I need to mention that entry with a vehicle can be be difficult because the gate can be opened only from the reception and if no one is available, there is just no way to open it. And it is a longish walk from the gate to the hotel, which we had to do under pouring rain to get to our taxi outside. Other than that, the stay was amazing and even better than expected for the price. Honestly...

"The reservation went through perfectly and checking in was easy. The room itself was okay for a short stay and served its purpose, but I did notice that the property is showing its age. "With the right expectations set, Phillip’s place was an incredible stay. The villa was spacious, with direct access to snorkeling and paddle boarding. There is a coral reef just feet from our dock. Phillip was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He helped to recommend transportation and delivery when we needed it. The property is isolated and can only be reached by water taxi. We prepared to remain at the villa for our entire stay to avoid the water taxi costs and to enjoy the solitude. The kitchen supplies were sufficient and clean. The villa is home to a family of tiny friendly lizards but aside from the occasional startle, they are harmless. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend!"
