It’s very secluded and quiet. It was the perfect place to spend a quiet relaxing weekend with my wife. The redwoods are a 10 minute drive away and we got some great hiking in. Lovely decor and colorful dishware are nice added touches. Detailed instructions made access and stay seamless. The location was perfect, set in the lush and majestic Redwoods, a short drive to Humboldt State Park, and small, quaint nearby towns and gift shops. If you're up for an adventurous ride, take the hour drive to Shelter Cove for stunning coastal scenery in a remote location on California's "Lost Coast". The Surf Point Coffee House serves up an excellent latte and homemade baked goods made fresh in-house daily, with a diverse menu of other freshly made breakfast and lunch items, not to mention the breathtaking panoramic oceanfront views. ##### Sue K. Lovely outdoor spaces as well, although the mosquitoes were out while we were there. A couple of the directions for using the home could've been more clear, but Sandee was very quick to communicate and clear things up for us. ##### Rick G.
