"The property was even more beautiful than the pictures! I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and the home was impeccable. They need to give the cleaners a raise! And no bugs inside! Not one! Everything seemed brand new, including the appliances. You can’t beat the location, right across from the beach and play structure. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The little touches I especially appreciated: footstools near the sinks so the kids can easily reach and wash their hands, hampers in each bedroom, plenty of games and toys, a wagon to carry stuff to the beach, and they even had citronella candles in case you wanted to relax outside. The fireplace was super cool, too. The host was very responsive; she even let us know the house was ready early, in case we wanted to check in before the posted time. We hope to stay here again!"

"The cottage was perfect for our family of 5 adults and 1 toddler (age 3.5). It was like having two separate apartments in one cottage. With a staircase outside to go between the two units. Having two full kitchens was a bonus for making meals. The cottage was very clean, the 3 bathrooms were spacious and the living areas were cozy.The 4 bedrooms were very comfortable and they provided everything you needed. It was nicely decorated in a beach vibe and the outside upper deck was a great place to watch the sunset or have morning coffee. It was exactly what we were looking for to spend time together as a family. The best part was the cottage was located a short 2 minute walk from one of the best Lake Michigan beaches in the area. We can't wait to rent the Sandcastle Beach Cottage next year. :)"

"This is a charming property. Perfect little getaway spot for 2 people. Basically spotless, and very cozy. Wonderful place to relax. Close to the beach, and parks. Good outdoor space for enjoying coffee in the morning or a fire pit in the evening. Decent restaurants within a 15 minute drive, as well as downtown Muskegon. Our host, Ed was very responsive."

"This place is little but is provided with everything you need. I just suggest that the outside cobwebs be swept down. Perhaps being close to the beach causes that. Speaking of being close to the beach, the beach is beautiful and there is no reason to pay for parking as it is just one block away! The host was attentive. The neighborhood deer is entertaining. One evening it was strutting down the center of the street and the next evening it jumped out right after I walked by. She won’t hurt you."
