The best time to visit Musha, East Province, Rwanda, is during the dry seasons, which run from June to September and December to February. These periods offer the most pleasant weather for exploring the region. You'll find less rainfall and clearer skies, making outdoor activities and travel around the East Province much more comfortable. The sunshine during these months is generally consistent, allowing for reliable planning of your days. For those planning safari adventures or wildlife viewing in nearby Akagera National Park, the dry season is particularly good. The vegetation is sparser, and animals tend to congregate around water sources, making them easier to spot. This is ideal for couples or solo travellers who want to maximise their wildlife encounters and photography opportunities.Conversely, the rainy seasons (March to May and October to November) bring heavier downpours, which can sometimes make unpaved roads challenging and outdoor activities less predictable.
