"I think it's important to know this is someone's house with a few hotel rooms upstairs. There are some less-than-ideal aspects. The place is very echoey, so if the owners are entertaining downstairs you will hear it in your room. The lighting is very harsh, bright white, which is a big no for me personally. Whats the point of paying in advance for a reservation if its not GUARANTEED. Now two weeks later I still dont have a refund as Hotels.com say it was a non refundable stay, which it was if I did not turn up.
