The breakfast is probably the best I’ve had in Italy so far—simple, fresh, and delicious, with a lovely dining area that makes the experience even more special. The staff is attentive, warm, and welcoming. I am so impressed with this hotel and only wish I were staying longer. A truly unforgettable experience"

"The Room was excellent in terms of size and facilities and proximity to reception, the restaurant was also great. Just outside the front door of the room was the view over Matera’s Gorge and the caves across the valley. The Staff were excellent and arranged taxi at correct time for our onward connection. The Hotel was next to the Qasar restaurant which has excellent outdoor balcony with great views. Ideal for when the Hotel restaurant was closed. Breakfast was a real treat with a lot of local specialities as well as everything you would expect. Go early to get a great seat in the cave restaurant and enjoy the delights."
