"From start to finish, there were no issues. Our hosts communicated everything we needed to know. We enjoyed the kayaks and pool table as well as the fire pit. The ducks were a bit of a nuisance, leaving a mess to clean up on the concrete. We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion in such a comfortable house, the perfect place to relax."

"I stayed here with my extended family, and we all had a really nice time. Lots of space and the garden was great. It was the middle of winter, so it was quite cold, which was fine, but you have to go outside on the balcony to access the toilets and bathrooms. This isn’t clear on the property listing, so something to consider if you are going to stay in winter. The house could do with a bit of attention, but nothing major. It’s missing a few basic things like a corkscrew, hairdryer, and enough...

"We stayed here for a wedding close by and we could not speak more highly of Bonvilla! Clean, comfortable with spectacular vineyard views (and a lovely tree swing down the road!). We were a large group visiting and we felt we had lots of space to relax. The added complimentary tasting was a highlight and the staff were lovely."

"A beautifully spot in the Hunter - we really enjoyed our stay. The location and views are just stunning. So peaceful. Kids loved making use of the grounds to play soccer and ride their bikes. They were so happy just being kids. It was a bit chilly for the pool but the spa (with a view!) was awesome and enjoyed by all of us. The property management was quick to respond and resolve (e.g new gas bottle for BBQ). Only comment I'd make is that the property is not that well maintained. Quite a few...

"We throughly enjoyed our stay for a 5th year in a row. It’s a magical place to enjoy time with family and unwind. You feel relaxed from the minute you walk through the door. With endless water activities for the thrill seekers or sit back a read a book with one of the best views in lake Macquarie. We’ll be back again next year."

The house was amply spaced for the 7 of us, it had everything we needed including oil, coffee, a lovely selection of tea. It’s the perfect comfortable base to the hunter region. I cannot recommend this place enough. To top it off, communication with Jodie the host was quick, easy and hassle free- overall a great experience and we’ll cherish forever."
