The location was supurb; close to all amenities, but quiet, peaceful & relaxing. The cottage was clean, cozy and had private parking. It was a very pleasant experience, and we would request this location again, when we travel to Murphys.

A beautiful little cottage getaway
What a lovely home to relax in and enjoy the small town of Murphy's. We loved being so close to main street. The home and furnishings were beautiful and immaculate. It was a pleasure to meet our host. We highly recommend this cottage for any couple wanting a quaint place to stay.

Delightful Cottage in excellent location
Charming well appointed cottage, really loved the delightful style and beautiful garden. Much enjoyed that there is a little outdoor seating area that was very enjoyable in the evenings while looking out at the super pretty garden. The location is just a block to main street so this provided a terrific location to soak up the Murphys ambience. I highly recommend this for a romantic couples get away!

Perfect little cottage
We loved our stayed in Denise's cottage! It is a very short walk to Main St and all the restaurants and wine tasting shops. It was our anniversary and Denise welcomed us with a banner wishing us a Happy Anniversary. The yard is whimsical and peaceful. We will stay here again, if we are planning a trip to Murphys

The cutest cottage with the nicest host
This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to spend an anniversary weekend. Denise was kind and made sure every detail was perfect including chilled local sparkling wine ready for our arrival. Great location walking distance to everything.

As wonderful as promised!
Darling cottage, all the amenities a person needs, perfect walk to downtown, cozy, sweet little decorations for the St. Patrick’s holiday, perfectly clean, attention to visitors needs with extra shelving and hanging space for personal items. Denise is excellent with communication and prompt responses. Looking forward to staying again!

Close to downtown, parking, so quaint and quiet! Such a pleasure to enjoy Murphy’s but not right on Main Street. Everything you need, fully stocked and again Denise was amazing and had a nice Rośe bubbly waiting for us in the fridge! A must stay.

Quiet and Quaint
This is a delightful one bedroom house next to downtown Murphys but so quiet and charming. The main room is large with a small but functional kitchen with several patios. The bedroom is small with the soft queen bed taking up most of the space. The bathroom is tiny with an angled ceiling over the bathtub, so be careful with your head. The hose lives on site and is really nice and helpful. Highly recommended for a romantic trip to Murphys or just a base camp for an adventure!

Perfect couple's get away
Great location. Walk to main street in a few minutes but just far enough away to be quiet. Perfect size for a weekend for two. Had everything we needed; and gave us flexibility to eat in or dine out. Also, an easy walk back after much wine tasting. Our hostess was great, communications and instructions were clear and she is right next door if you need anything.

I can't say enough about how great this charming place was. We can't wait to go back. Denise contacted us immediately after scheduling, gave us tips about things to do/see and met us at check in to welcome us. Cottage was spotless, warm ambience, romantic, country stylish, cozy, safe, comfortable bed, couple minutes walk to charmiing main street, wine tasting, antique theater, gorgeous park. Close to exploration caves, Ironstone Winery, small town friendly events. This cottage owner took personal efforts to show us a wonderful time and advise us of nearby activities. Also generous with the A/C, and gave us delicious local wine to enjoy. Very personable, professional and kind. Will stay there again!

Cozy little cottage just steps away from downtown. Cottage is fully stocked with necessities and Denise was an attentive and helpful host. Grounds and Firewood were terrific places to eat. Gold Country Roasters serves excellent coffee.

10 year Anniversary weekend
Denise was an amazing host. She knew it was our anniversary and had put out a sign on the front door for when we arrived. She even had a nice bottle of wine already chilled in the fridge for us to celebrate with. We will definitely be going back and staying with her again.

This is a super cute, very clean great little cottage. It is a short walk to downtown (literally around the corner). We came for the concert at Ironstone which was a short drive. Otherwise we just parked our car and walked to downtown which was a nice advantage as we could come and go. Denise was a wonderful host, had the AC on when we got there so the place was nice and cool. She had coffee, cream and sugar and homemade biscotti for us for the mornings waiting in the fridge. Nice little bonus! Denise also encouraged us to make dinner reservations right away as the town gets busy when concerts are in town, and she was right. The downtown was crowded with people both nights. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute Cottage with great location to downtown
We were greeted by the property manager when we arrived. She knew that we were going to the Sugarland concert so she had the tv on with country music playing. The cottage was cute and clean. Only issue is the shower has a sloped ceiling so if you are tall it would be a little challenging. Overall it was a nice stay and would definitely book again.

Incredible home-away-from- home!
Denise and her wonderful home are both amazing! Denise is a wonderful resource for those unfamiliar with the area. The house is perfect and the personal touches were very much appreciated. The house is just a short walk from everything downtown. We found ourselves snuggled in the house in the afternoon relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine on the porch surrounded by the incredible gardens. The bed is comfortable and the house has everything you could possibly need! Can't wait to go back!

Lovely cottage
We have stayed here twice now and both times have been an absolute pleasure! The cottage is charming and cozy and has everything we need. We love that it is a short walk to downtown but far enough removed that it is a quiet oasis.The owner, Denise, is lovely also. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful town of Murphys.
