La région est magnifique et offre un accès idéal aux sentiers de randonnée. L'endroit est isolé, il faut donc prévoir de prendre la voiture pour faire les courses ou aller au restaurant. Il y a une petite épicerie dans la vallée et un supermarché à 20 minutes en voiture. Attention, la route d'accès est raide et l'accès en hiver peut être difficile en cas de verglas ou de neige.
