Enjoyed privacy of cabin and quietness. Easy close parking. Beautiful room. Comfortable bed and great shower. Wish they would have had a bigger skillet and bigger pot in their kitchen. Hard to cook a meal. Think it would have been nice to have a 4 burner stove top.

I was very underwhelmed by this property. All of the furnishings are old and dilapidated the chairs in the bar/restaurant have cheap polyester covers over chairs that have been used so much. The vinyl is gone. The room itself again. The furnishings were old and dirty and fraying myself on the edges. There was only one trashcan in the room. It was in the bathroom unless they do a major renovation I would not recommend this hotel.

This was a really cute little property. The grounds were right up to the national forest, with a little coffee shop on property. The cabins are cute and well maintained, but walls are thin, so if you get roust neighbors, you can hear everything going on. And the highway is really close so it can get pretty noisy during the day (but you’re not there anyways, cause you’re out doing stuff). Close to Rush mountain adventure park, Mount Rushmore, Custer state park and more. Would stay here again.

The property did undergo some renovations. The room looks nice but it’s still tiny. Our room AC was on its last leg and the room was like a sauna! We didn’t sleep very good. My young son wasn’t impressed with the pool - it’s tiny too. Breakfast area is tiny too. It was ok-ok. The hotel do have cool art throughout the place in homage to our Presidents. Very cool.
