It is serviced by a lift and has excellent views of the 4th Fairway and a magnificent pool beneath. It is in a perfect location on the resort being only a short 3 minute stroll to the Old Hacienda and Centre. With the private roof terrace which has been furnished in high quality furniture, this apartment allows you to really make the most of the Spanish weather, all within the privacy of your own solarium. (Note: Some penthouses have adjoining terraces). The roof terrace has the sun all day with the rear terrace having shade in the mornings till late afternoon. It also boasts a superb barbecue for outdoor cooking and we have available four sun loungers to take down to the pool area. The apartment is furnished in a contemporary style with a luxury leather sofa in the lounge with a new Samsung Smart 42 inch TV/Netflix/Satellite/English TV channels are available/Air conditioning/Free WiFi/ and with dining space for four people. The two bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and consist of Master bedroom with King size bed and the second being a twin. There is also a terrace off the bedrooms with seating for that early breakfast or late drink with views to the hills. The kitchen at our apartment is also fully equipped with all of the modern appliances you would expect to find such as a cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine, kettle and toaster. We provide all bed linen and towels for use within the apartment and provide beach/pool towels also. There is also 2 sets of golf clubs available to use in the apartment. \*\*\* Please Note \*\*\* There is mandatory exit clean charge of 75 euros payable locally to our key holder on departure. Hacienda Riquelme is a secure gated complex with plenty of secure car parking available. Our Penthouse has a double parking space in the underground car park for your convenience with access to the apartment by a lift or the staircase There are generous amounts of pools and children's play areas with the nearest pool directly below the apartment. There is a sports area with Tennis courts, paddle courts and 5 aside football pitch and outdoor gym. The Hacienda facilities include bars, restaurant, golf pro shop and an excellent supermarket. GOLF There are numerous golf courses in the area. The 18 hole Hacienda Riquelme Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus is a par 72 and 6416m course built to professional standards. The course covers an area of 71 hectares and has a stunning mountain backdrop and panoramic views of the coast. This course is one of a group of six golf courses owned by GNK Golf that make up some of the best in Europe. They are the Mar Menor, La Torre, Saurines, Hacienda Riquelme, El Valle and Alhama. Hacienda is different from the others, providing ample fairways combined with hard to approach greens, and bunkers ready to challenge your game. The course is surrounded by wild flowers, olive trees and stunning lakes. GOLF COURSE SERVICES Practice facilities: Natural grass driving range with 20 bays, Putting and chipping green, Practice bunker, Practice ball dispensing machines. We very much enjoyed our time at Hacienda Riquelme. The terrace was in the sun all day and was perfect for sunbathing. Apartment had all the facilities you need for a relaxing stay. Golf course looked perfect (although we're not golfers so we dont know how it plays ) . We must echo other reviews and say that you will 100% need a car for your stay. The highlight of the apartment is a beautiful large terrace with sun almost all day long, cool, refreshing breezes and a great view of the golf course and a large pool. From booking through to check in, the process was smooth and stress free. The owners are super quick to respond to messages. The apartment is lovely, with plenty of space (family of 5) and all the housewares you could need during your stay - lots of towels (including pool/beach towels) as well as sun loungers and a parasol for the pool and golf clubs should you wish to use them. When we arrived the apartment was surface clean but it could use a thorough deep clean as it was dusty behind doors, inside cupboards and under the sofa (evident when pulling out the sofa bed). Also, some areas of decor were a bit grubby and need of refresh, particularly in the bathroom. We had a minor issue with the toilet flusher on day 1 which was resolved very quickly by the keyholder. Underground parking is served by an elavator straight to the penthouse which was so convienent. The resort of Hacienda Riquelme is generally well kept, but we were bothered by loose tile grount underfoot, in and around the nearest pool which appeared to need some maintenance. The pool area did not seem to have been cleaned during our entire 10 day stay. There is 1 main restaurant where the food is average price and quality. The service on all 3 occasions where we dined here was awful. A gorgeous little cafe/bar serves food, cocktails and beer until dinner time but we found that they had often run out of most food by early to mid afternoon. ##### Nicole B. Well equipped terrace/balcony with views over the pool. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with access to a smaller front balcony. The bedding was a mid tog quilt which was too warm as there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms and provided fans don't really cool. The kitchen walls had a few splash and various dirty marks, skirting board tops very grimey. Quite a few bulbs in the light fittings not working and no spares to replace them. The outside terrace is not joined to the neighbouring properties like some and so gives you the feeling of openness and privacy, a real sun trap! As we have family and friends both in Hacienda Riquelme and the local town of Sucina we know where we will be staying next time we visit . Janice and Steve couldn't have been accommodating and were helpful in the run up to our break which was arranged at very short notice. There are a lot of properties for rent on the golf course, but if you're looking for a beautifully presented, well equipped and perfectly located apartment for the clubhouse, with access to what I think is one the better swimming pools on the development then you won't go far wrong ! We have stayed in the area many time and it is probably the best apartment we have rented mainly down to its position with sunny aspects on both balcony areas front and rear. Good location to the golf clubhouse and practice facilities. The food at the hacienda restaurant was excellent and it’s handy having a small shop. The golf course is on way up the best we played was Lo Romaro worth a trip. Overall an excellent property and I would definitely recommend a holiday there. ##### John B. Verbesserungsfähig: Nur Kapselmaschine, keine Kaffeemaschine Backofentüre hängt leicht aus viel zu viele Kissen - wohin damit? Nur eine Bettdecke, anstatt 2 je Zimmer Wasserhahn im Bad ist schwergängig und quietscht wackliger Esstisch Esszimmerstühle: Filz unter die Beine?! Die Schlafzimmer sind recht klein, man stoßt sich des öfteren an den Heizkörpern. ##### Harry K. Un endroit très calme pour passer des vacances paisibles. Propreté et entretien de l’appartement ainsi que la résidence irréprochable. Très bonne adresse pour les amateurs du golf et de tranquillité.
