You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Waterfall Cabin

We have a 2 - bedroom and 1 - bath cedar log cabin vacation rental situated on 8 - acres adjacent to national forest. We have A/C, WI-FI, grill, and campfire. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs has 2 - full beds.

Kitchen utensils, cookware, linens, and bathroom essentials are all provided. You will have to bring your own toiletries such as toilet paper, shampoo, and other items. We do stock toilet paper, but not for extended stays. There is a coffee maker that also has pod capability. We have a fire pit, gas, and charcoal grills outside.

We are 2-miles south of Lakeshore Trail, Miner's Castle, Pictured Rocks, and Miner's Beach. Pictured Rocks Golf Course is 2 - miles west and the town of Munising is 5 - miles south-west. Snowmobile and ATV trail is 1/2 - mile east.

This is our 2nd vacation rental that just started May 2023. We have received many compliments on how comfortable, isolated, quiet, and yet close to all Munising has to offer.

We have offered our vacation home on adjacent property east for over 16 - years and are excited to provide this log cabin.

Perfect Getaway!
My family and I enjoyed our long weekend at the Waterfall Cabin! We will definitely be back for a stay when we head to the UP again! It’s in a great location, extremely close to Pictured Rocks and Munising. I highly recommend the Waterfall Cabin! It was perfect for our family of 5. There is an upstairs loft that has two beds and one bed on the main level. The kitchen was clean and stocked with everything you needed (coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, etc). There was a good sized table to eat at as well as a picnic table and fire pit with chairs outside. Living area had a couch and two super comfy chairs. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The cabin has an open floor plan and it was nice that there were curtains to block out light from the living area and kitchen to the main bedroom. It was an added bonus that the cabin had good wifi because cell service was spotty. The only downside would be the stairs to the loft. They are very steep to the upper level and would be hard for someone with poor mobility. Other than that, the cabin was great!

Perfect Pictured Rocks location and amenities
This cabin is very nice, smells like fresh cut cedar, and was perfect for the 4 of us to stay while hiking Pictured Rocks, exploring Lake Superior, and hanging out in Munising. It is very clean and a nice secluded location while also having easy access to town and trails (anywhere in 10-25 min). It is VERY open concept w one bedroom being an open loft and the other bedroom on the main floor being fully open to the kitchen. Our only suggestion would be putting a sliding barn door to add a little privacy between kitchen and bedroom. We made the open concept work but it could be awkward for others. Thanks so much for the great stay! We LOVED the area!!

Great cabin for a getaway!
This cabin is a great location for activities in the area. A short drive to Pictured Rocks and downtown Munising. The cabin itself was very clean, private, and peaceful. Checkin was a breeze and the host was very kind. We would highly recommend!

Turn back the clock
I used to own the Waterfall Cabin so it was great to be able to rent it. The new owners made a lot of nice improvements to the cabin. It was clean and cozy. The whole family was excited to stay there and it did not disappoint.

Secluded getaway
Very nice cabin, secluded and quiet yet close enough to Munising. It is well stocked with everything you need. Just need clothes, toiletries and food. The only thing to note is that the cabin has an open design style. Only curtains to close off the downstairs bedroom and the upstairs loft is open. Not a huge deal, but something to consider if traveling with extended family. The host is great and you won't be disappointed with this rental!

Fourth Vacation
The cabin was well equipped and nicely furnished. It was a very comfortable home for my family and I. We loved that shopping was only five miles away. And the town has a lot to offer. We would definitely return here for another stay.
