Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Trails End. Trails End is a great home in Christmas, conveniently located 1 block from M28 and 5 miles from downtown Munising. Home offers 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths. It has a master bedroom with king size bed, doorwall to deck, walk in closet and master bath. Bedroom 2 has queen size bed, Bedroom 3 has a twin bunk bed, and Bedroom 4 is in the finished basement with queen size bed. We have a 24' heated above ground pool open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

You'll love all the room this home offers and the great location. It's close to area attractions such as Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Grand Island, Bay Furnace, waterfalls, hiking, beaches, etc. You are also only a couple blocks from state snowmobile and ATV trails. This home has plenty of space for a large group but is also quite cozy for small groups as well. It has an attached 2 car heated garage and a half circle driveway for easy in and out parking. The pool is only open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Guests have full access to home other than mechanical room in basement and the brown pole barn.

We are available by text and/or messaging through your booking app if you should have any questions before or during your stay. We also live nearby and can stop by if needed (if we are home).

Our neighborhood is a quiet residential area. We ask that guests please be neighborly and be quiet when outdoors from 9 pm to 8 am. This home is within walking distance to Christmas Kewadin Casino, Foggy's Steakhouse, The Duck Pond, and gas station/party store. We are only about 5 miles from downtown Munising where there are the Pictured Rocks Cruises, Glass Bottom Boat Shipwreck Tours, Sand Point Beach, waterfalls, etc. In Munising there ais a grocery store and numerous restaurants.

-Home has central air conditioning with a limit on thermostat of 68
-No pets allowed
-No smoking allowed in the home, $250 fee if broken
-Signed rental agreement and security deposit hold required for all reservations. Primary guest will need to send a picture of government issued ID and list names and ages of all other guests in their group
-There are exterior 2 audio/video recording security devices that are on 24/7. One faces the front door to home and garage entry door while the other faces the brown pole barn. Both cameras are motion activated.

Pictured Rocks Trip

The house was perfect for our group of 5. Check in was super easy and everything went smoothly. The kids had fun with the games and the downstairs was nice for relaxing at night. Location was really good with the lake in walking distance and close to all the area attractions. Danielle was an amazing host and super responsive, she even came over our first day and helped show us how to open up the heated pool. Would definitely stay again if we visit the area.

We had a great time during our stay at this property. Home is excellent for snowmobiling gas and trails are less than 1/4 mile from home. Heated garage is wonderful. The house is neat and clean and has everything you need for your stay. Danielle is an excellent host and her communications is wonderful.

Upper Peninsula Vacation Spectacular

Almost immediately upon arriving, the 4 kids were swimming in the large heated pool as the parents enjoyed drinks on the 2 decks and around the fire pit. The grandparents walked across the backyard and into the casino parking lot to try their luck on the slots. We also went trail riding and were pleased with the large driveway and quick trail access. We loved the first floor laundry, used the grill, and the kids played foosball and darts in the basement. Plenty of space for our party of 11 with a short drive to Pictured Rocks in Munising.

3 Generations, 3 Households, 1 Unforgettable Vacation

Three generations from three households came together for a one-week family vacation. We had 12 people in this home, ages 2 - 55, and it was awesome! Having two living spaces and the rustic hangout room in the garage gave everyone just enough separation, while the kitchen and dining space allowed us a great place to gather together for meals and games. The fire pit, deck, and, of course, the heated pool were awesome! The house was fully stocked with all the pans, pots, and dishes you need to prepare a meal, lots of extra towels, and plenty of extra bedding. Highly recommend!!

Great family get away

In our group, we have outdoor lovers and those that like to hang by the pool or just watch TV. This property worked very well for all of us. It is a short drive to Munising and hiking, but also has the casino nearly in the backyard. It is well stocked with pool towels, cookware and utensils, pots and pans. We were able to make muffins, use 2 crockpots at the same time, and bake brownies in a 9x13 pan. Danielle answered several questions leading up to our stay- very responsive. The bedrooms all had dressers, the beds were comfortable. This met our needs for an adult family of 7. Could have had beds for another adult and 2 pull-outs that we didn't need to use.
