"I've read other reviews if thus hotel and I can say I think they stayed at a different place. It is in the middle of no where. It is almost 10 miles to Mullingar along windy roads. No restaurants were opened nearby. The manor house is old but without any old world charm. the owners are nice and the ..."

"Hotel was great. I had a room with a double and two twin and that was a very sizable room! They provided a fan for the room which was great as it got a little warm at night. No USB outlet so if you are traveling from another country, be sure to have an adapter. Location is very convenient to walking ..."

Good food, nice but noisy
"Lovely hotel in Kells. The rooms, furnishings, and features seem newer and well-maintained. Our room was not ready when we arrived even though it was after check-in time, but the staff set us up in the bar and treated us well. There was a wedding and a concert the weekend we were there, resulting in some areas being extremely overcrowded and noisy, and the parking being full. Restaurant options are very good, and we enjoyed some of the best food and drink of our Ireland trip."

"The owners were charming. A place to stay, if you like old properties, don’t mind not having benefits like being able to use your mobile as there is no broadband connection in the area. Also, I had trouble using the front door key to open the door."

No USB outlet so if you are traveling from another country, be sure to have an adapter. Location is very convenient to walking into the village or to the train station. "
