Disgusted!

We couldn't stay at Misty Hills, as we arrived and only then was told we are unable to use the pool, one of the main reasons why we arrived early to spend time at the pool. The manager was disgusting, facetious and very unfriendly and unwilling to sort the problem out. It took an hour to get re-booked at Avianto, only after I had to lose my temper for the manager to pull up his socks to do something about sorting out the situation. I will NEVER book anyone here, ever. Avianto also was not impressive.

Won't stay there again. No air on. Room was hot. They tried to charge for an early check in when rooms were available, then tell me they have a water shortage.

Stayed for work. Great rooms. Lots of character and kind staff. Parking situation is fairly distant from rooms, but not a big deal for my stay.

lost my booking

i was very frustrated since i got there. i phoned in the morning to check my booking and make sure all is paid for and they confirmed it. when i got there they could not find my booking. so i had to stand there for almost 20min searching for a mail to mail confirmation to them. then that wasnt good enough so i had to stand there for them to make a new booking. so eventually i got to my room and when i got there my fan was laying outside on the patio and there was sugar and shampoo on the bench so i was not very happy. at reception they took my licence and credit card as its a procedure and im fine with that. they gave the card back not taking the details and did not give my licence back.. so eventually they had to bring me my licence and come to my room to get my credit card details... so since i walked in there i was not happy. the receptionist was very friendly while i was very upset so props to her for handling it calmly

The receptionist was very bad. Nothing was explained to us and we had to call many times for simple things like towels, ironing board, the bed, sugar and tea. Service from the reception to the rooms must really improve as it is currently poor.

Good for a three star establishment, except...

If this was a 3 star hotel and was a bit cheaper (in terms of the room and food prices), it would get a thumbs up from me. But at 4 starts and the prices, it didn't solidly deliver on my expectations. Also, aside from a few stand-out staff, the majority of their people under-delivered too. The place has awesome potential, but management needs to beef up their efforts. (I was there for a three day conference).
