"Our entire group absolutely loved Oakland’s Estate. It was beautifully maintained: perfectly manicured gardens, spotless interiors, and everything was pleasing to the eye. Seriously spacious too. Kendall went above and beyond in demonstrating his care for us as guests in his beautiful home. He shared loads of recommendations prior, was easy to communicate with and kitted the place out with almost everything you’d need for your holiday. Thank you so much! "The house is quaint and in a beautiful setting. Close enough to town for easy access but far enough to feel like you’re in the countryside. It’s very well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Sara, our host was lovely, friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a bottle of wine on our arrival and she came to say hi and check on us. She also offered to have the kids feed their cows. We forgot some of our belongings which she kindly posted back to us....

"Perfect getaway for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life! Quiet location with great surrounding areas. My only concern was a lack of a sink in the kitchen to clean up with. I did find a bucket to do all the cleaning so only a minor inconvenience."

"One of those times when the property not only lives up to its expectation but surpasses them.Arriving late Friday nightentry via the keyless door was great and each room was so nice. My wife loved everything about it. Position was perfect as only a short walk to the main street so driving was minimal. Would have liked a local to do book on premises though. Mudgee itself also lived up to its hype. Food, wine, cafes, pubs and restaurants were all wonderful. Highly recommend."

"I stayed here with friends and our two children, aged 6 and 5 years. The property is remote and just beautiful if you are after an escape from the city. The kids had a trampoline and play equipment to keep them entertained. The horse and sheep were at our door step in the morning and were able to feed them. The house was well equipped and clean, comfortable and warm beds. Teresa was lovely, very helpful and welcoming. We loved the fire pit and stunning views. The children had a wonderful time."

"Fantastic holiday had in this property. Property had all amenities you could imagine and beds were super comfortable. Towels and linen all excellent. House was impeccably clean. There was lots of outside seating options, however only minor complaint would be that there were only two sunbeds by the pool. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area."

"So much to love about the professionalism of this listing. coffee machine and coffee, as well as stocked up tea and milk a very nice touch on arrival. Comfortable beds with quality linen. Surrounded by nature, watch kangaroos hop across the front lawn of an evening and if you’re lucky spot a whip tail wallaby. Super quiet and peaceful retreat outside town, but just 4mins drive back to town for a night out if you want. The view is wonderful, and so nice in morning and afternoon. Well appointed...

"Very happy with the space provided and the ease of getting in etc. Little disappointed with the sofa bed which was really uncomfortable and small for 2 adults. Loved the 3 bathrooms and the large kitchen and the little extras left in kitchen like milk etc. All of the guests were impressed and we would definately stay here again when in Mudgee and in a large group."

"Kangaroo Gully was the best stay of our outback trip. So spacious and relaxing, the beds were super comfy and the beautiful bushy outlook from the verandah was perfect, we even saw a kangaroo in the gully one night. Perfect. 🙂"
