"If you want privacy and seclusion, plus A/C, a hot tub, and plenty of room to explore lightly-logged wilderness on foot or ATV, this is the place!Comfortable for our family of four. Rustic second cabin was surprisingly nice, but we didn't need it.The screen porch/fire put was used every night, and they have everything you need stocked. The main bathroom is especially nice.There are small steps throughout the main cabin and lots of topography on the property. Access is by a stretch of unpaved road and driveway, but nothing a pickup/SUV can't handle. Important note: Google Maps is wrong! Use owner-supplied directions.Communication was great and overall a great experience! Should have stayed longer!"

"Lovely! Clean, convenient, stocked, and comfortable!Most importantly, it was a beautiful cottage for spending time with our family that live in the area.Everyone agrees that the screen porch is a 10 out of 10! So much to offer! Wonderful sandy beach for great swimming. We had fun fishing, floating, and using our paddle boards. My son and his girlfriend enjoyed white water rafting at Pier’s Gorge. Highly recommend! Would definitely love to rent again. Thank you!"

"We had a fantastic stay, the cabin was exactly what we needed and fit our family of 5 perfectly. Great views of the water and abundant relaxation. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we’re back in area."

"The cabin was exactly as we hoped. Having the Jon boats with motors charged for fishing was great. Caught northern, crappie, and blue gill, which made for a great fish fry. The lake was clean and we were able to get out on floatie and enjoy the water. Jerry was an excellent host and was in contact whenever we reached out, he even allowed us to stay a bit longer on checkout day as we didn’t have to catch a flight until later so we were able to relax and take our time. We ensured to clean the cabin really well as we were very appreciative of his flexibility. Overall, great stay and will stay again."

"Absolutely amazing log cabin in the beautiful north woods on very quiet lake. We had a blast fishing and it was very productive. This propriety checks every box for our family of 3 and dog. Cabin is close to shore with a very easy walk down to the dock. WiFi is outstanding if needed. Looking forward to returning to this property in the future."

"This is a great property. Even better than we were anticipating! It's new, so there are a few additions needed (i.e. things for the kitchen like kitchen knife, can opener, wine glasses). The owner was very receptive to feedback and has planned amenities coming soon. I loved the "zen den" off the TV room for relaxation, as well as the clean, cool lake. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and has a really great shower. Multiple fans and screened windows and doors help keep things cool, especially at night. The location is also a great jumping off point for U.P. activities (hiking, waterfalls, etc.) Piers Gorge is the best hike nearby, just FYI. Love that the property is also dog friendly and included a dog bed! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we're already considering a return visit in the fall."
