"This was a great place to stay for the night on our road trip through Oregon. It would have been awesome if the saloon stayed open past 9 o’clock. Would’ve been even more awesome if the pool, hot tub, and restaurant stayed open later as well. Breakfast was delicious and coffee is available early in the lobby."

"The place was nice, clean, quiet and had a restaurant/bar inside but DON'T eat there. Very expensive and food wasn't that good. So much more to say but don't have the time. The food was more than the room for two of us. Probably never stay there again for that reason. GET RID OF THE RESTAURANT/BAR. I FEEL $162 for two of us plus horrible food wasn't worth it with no mention of compensation!!"

"Despite being an older facility they clearly take pride in what they have by keeping it well maintained and well stocked with amenities. The park like grounds are worth the stay as is the view of the mighty Columbia."

"Hotel is lovely, the rooms are a bit dated but very comfortable bed. We ate at the Hotel Bar which had a great menu. Our bill was about $257 before tip. In hindsight should not have tipped 20%. The bartender did not fill the shot glass when making the drinks. We ordered 3 Manhattans at $33 each glasses not full. The cosmo was filled to the normal lip of the glass though. Our bottle of Mt Hood Chardonnay was less than the 3 Manhattans."

"Our stay was perfect. But, we had immense difficulties with the reservation provider that is on the hotel's website. It is apparently a third party provider that then places your reservation with another provider. They did not fully disclose their fee or that the reservation was not refundable and was prepaid. When I tried to contact them, their email account was not responsive. When I called, I was in a loop that kept wanting to send me a confirmation. I reached out to the hotel general manager who helped and concurrently disputed the charge with my credit card. I think it is now resolved."
