"Nice holiday home with everything we needed, Clean and tidy, with a cozy living room, The private pool was a great feature, although it could be a bit chilly in early May, Overall, a good spot for a family vacation"

"Gastheer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en betrokken. Erg prettig. Alles goed aanwezig voor ons behalve keukenbestek en pannen minimaal voor onze samenstelling. Zwembad super en werd goed schoon gehouden tijdens ons verblijf. Door de vele spullen en accessoires leek het lastig schoon te houden. Onbeperkt handdoeken en grote badlakens. Erg fijn dat er wasmachine en droger was met klein kind. Tuin en omgeving piekfijn in orde en sfeervol"

"Everything you need for a wind-down in the country. All you could need is provided in the clean and comfortable gite. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. Genial hosts with good local knowledge, friendly and discrete. "

"Séjour annulé par l'hôte sans aucune explication, sans message, sans excuse rien à 2h de notre arrivée. Nous étions déjà en direction du logement, avions déjà fait une heure de route. "We had a very nice time at Anne Marie's place. She was really welcoming and helpful. Checking in and out was very quick and straightforward. She gave us great information about what to see and do on the area too. The location is very good, in a quiet place, but close to supermarkets and a few lakes with bars and restaurants. The accomodation was very clean and good. Breakfast was lovely and had a good array of foods: the traditional items expected for a continental breakfast - cereal, butter, jams, pain au Chocolat, fruits, etc- but also a plate with cold meat/charcuterie and cheese. Overall, really nice. We had a lovely time in the garden using the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Overall, a very nice stay and very good value for the money we paid. Thank you Anne Marie. We will certainly stay at yours again next time we drive down to Spain."

"One of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. I would like to thank both Mario and Ilse for being wonderful hosts, we received such a warm welcome and were afforded absolute privacy throughout our stay even though they were always on hand if anything was needed.The cottage is beautiful and so well equipped its a real home from home, with a full size larder fridge and an under the counter freezer there is plenty of room for you to stock up on groceries and forget that the world outside exists.The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, you seriously want for nothing, there is even a bacon slicer!Beds are very clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are very stylish with plenty of hot water and a fantastic shower.The garden is amazing, and in complete peace and quiet all you can hear are the sounds of nature and the views are spectacular. The pool is a real treat, just the right size and warm.There are some really pretty walks in the area and it is only minutes away from the national park. I would recommend the cottage to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet, hiking, cycling or relaxing. There are also really good dark skies at night perfect for star gazing there is no light pollution.Although it feels that you are in the middle of nowhere nothing is too far away, it is only 45 minutes of easy driving from Limoges Airport. The roads are very quiet compared to the UK. Plenty of Supermarkets along the route.So thankful that we found this place, we will be return soon x"

"Clean, sterile, functional. Rather like a renovated older Motel 6 in the states. Friendly and helpful desk clerk. Spoke enough English to help. Good shower (no tub). Room had effective heater once management turned it on, and an openable window. No space devoted to art work, although our room had a yellow wall. We opted to eat at the hotel restaurant because otherwise we’d have to drive. friendly chef and server. We opted for the menu of the day which started with a “pizza” followed by something like chicken along with some decent potatoes. Better than expected. We had low expectations. We would stay here again."
