Sitting under a covered porch, late afternoon, watching and listening to birds, in the background you can hear a rooster, the clanking of bells from cattle in a nearby field, all taking place in a light rain. One of us mentioned the WIFI was a little weak, we looked at each other and shrugged. Didn’t come here for WIFI. The breakfast was very good, and everyone has a smile on their face. There’s a rock monolith within walking distance, and the castle is a five minute drive. Vineyards, olive trees,…honestly, paradise. In our case we left the window in our front door open, to access WIFI. A minor inconvenience. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. We slept great, and after two nights, we were sorry to leave. God, I love this country. From the moment we arrived we were met with incredible concierge service to help plan our weekend and show us our incredible suite. We did a winemaking tour and class along with an olive oil making and class as well as Pilates and all three were great! I am blanking on the instructor names but each were incredibly knowledgeable and we felt spoiled each leg. The food in the restaurant was also incredible. The dinner was great, but the breakfast was equally as impressive. 10/10 would recccomend!
