This is a basic, but conveniently located, hotel in El Cerrito. It is a clean hotel. And everything was as it should be, if at the minimal level: towels were not fancy; soaps and shampoo were not fancy. All this is understood and acceptable at this price level. For women travelers: the hotel felt safe with convenient parking on premises. I have one recommendation: please improve the quality of the coffee available in the morning. There are no individual machines in the rooms, and guests must go to the lobby. The one day that we tried the lobby coffee, it tasted like it had been in the urn for 12 hours. We went out for coffee in the morning after that! Either provide ways for guests to make coffee in their rooms or offer fresh coffee in the morning (perhaps pods?)

Didn’t realize till we arrived that nothing is included. They charge $45 night for parking. $100 per night for security deposit. Breakfast you have to pay for which is about $25 depending what you get. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here with the fees for everything. I will say it was a nice stay and it was clean.
