There are two wood-burning stoves and a comfy queen Murphy bed in the main living area. The kitchen is smaller but has everything you need to cook most meals. Large lawn gently slopes down to the river’s edge where if the levels are right, you can cast your line there or even pull out your kayak. Rent our next-door sister cabin "The Upper Deck", to expand your group size and experience. You have a paved road all the way in . There is a bonfire pit in the field in front of the river. River View Drive is a neighborhood with full time and part time residents. Cabin is not remote. Please be sure and click through all the photos and read the full description as we think it will answer most questions you have in advance or will need prior to packing up and heading our way. But please, feel free to reach out with any questions. We love them. \*\*Rental Prices are dynamic. This means that the prices vary – determined by software – dependent on area inventory, day of week and time of year. When you enter the dates you are interested in and the amount of people you can see the actual quote\* PROPERTY LOCATION: Property is paved all the way to the door. There are no steps to enter. It is about 10 minutes from our world class Blanchard Caverns Recreation area and OK Trading Post with horse trail riding.. It is 5 minutes from Angler's restaurant/ Fishing guide services and 10 - 15 minutes from shopping, medical in the town you're going to fall in love with, MOUNTAIN VIEW ARKANSAS. Other area attractions include North Sylamore Creek Access, Ozark Folk Center State Park, Loco Ropes Course (tree top adventures), Arkansas Craft School - all within about 15 minutes. ABOUT THE WATER: This river is very cold and swift even in August. (Makes for great cool breezes on summer evenings). It is tailwater from two dams and levels fluctuate daily. You may or may not be able to easily stick your toes in the water. Anglers' and Jack's Resort rent John boats and trout guide services economically. Boats can take you to confluences of other creeks where you can swim. Really fun! RENTAL AMENITIES: \~ 900sf. 1 queen size bed in Master. 1 Queen size bed in living area is comfortable murphy style bed with modern mattress. \~ Kitchen with appliances, drip coffee maker, microwave, cookware, dishes, and cooking utensils \~ deck with lounge seating and a dining table for 4-6\. \~ covered propane grill \~ 2 full baths - one with tub shower combo. 1 with walk in shower. \~ stacked washer and dryer \~ wifi via DSL - about 3MB - enough to stream movies \~ smart TV for streaming netflix, hulu, youtube or thousands of other options - NO CABLE OR SATELLITE \~ so/so cell phone signal here - can also enable wifi calling on your smart phone \~ bonfire pit shared with Upper Deck next door. \~ central heating and cooling PETS: Max 3\. We love dogs! And they are welcome here for an additional fee of $85 for up to 3 dogs - a flat fee for the duration of your stay. \*Heads up: sometimes your fur babies are not included in your quote on certain booking sites! Body, hand, + dish soap, trash bags, basic cleaning products + tools, and toilet paper. \~ Starter supplies (1 or 2 days depending on personal usage): paper towels, ground coffee + filters, sugar, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, salt + pepper, and cooking oil. \~ BYO toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste, etc. ABOUT US, THE BOOKING PROCESS AND FEES: We are Ozark Mountain Stays, a professional vacation rental management company. We are readily found in a search. We love the area and mostly live very locally to the properties. All properties are self check-in – with key code – after 4pm. Check out is 11\. Confirmed guests received our self-penned "local's guide" to the area! Email you provide is important. We send welcome and access info there. Check your spam, please. Taxes and clean/supply fees are always required as is a processing fee that varies depending on who you are booking through. We cannot accept CANCELLATION variances due to personal reasons or area attraction closures. If we are mandated to close our rental operations, you will be refunded 100% or given the option of credit for future reservation good for 12 months. 1\. We've lowered the down payment to reserve from 50% to 15%. IT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. 2\. If you need to change your reservation due to COVID related government mandates, we will apply your monies paid towards future reservation good for 12 months from booking date. 3\. If you prefer to just cancel, we will retain your monies paid according to the policy timeline, refunding the remainder. We always refund 100% of cleaning and pet fees 4\. Fast running river, several fishing boats with people relaxing and fishing, mist rising from the river in the early morning - all so beautiful. Laughing children and dog playing near the water was precious. We are elderly, thus a lower bed and a recliner would have been nice. The television and coffee pot were easy to use. Our pups had the best time too. The local neighbors that live there year round were so nice! River was high from the heavy rains, but still caught 3 fish. Oh, not to mention; I locked us out of the cabin. Had the front door dead bolt locked and went out the back door, and so the coded front door wouldn't open. This place is so beautiful and romantic. The view is amazing. We spent the first night out on the deck drinking wine and just listening to the river. Another night we had a small fire, Coffee outside every morning. We added a day while there! The river is super cold and fast, but there is a little walk in area that we used to splash around. We have two small children ages 2 & 5, so the river was a bit much for them Older kids and adults would be able to enjoy it more. The house is a 15 minute drive to the caverns, which are amazing, and the folk center, which is also totally worth half a day! I'm ready to move to Mountain View! It's a dry county though, so plan accordingly. The management company was hands on to ensure everything was as expected and made sure we didn’t need anything. The location was great…only a couple miles to town and good restaurants. Loved the deck overlooking the river and the ability to shore fish right out the door. We also appreciated being able to bring our fur baby. It was the perfect cabin for us…we’ll be back. Everything was great with exception of the bed mattress…it was starting to show wear with body divots on both sides that made you slide to the middle of the bed and into your partner. It was also a little too firm, but we survived. Blankets on bed way too small There was another blanket in closet but did not smell fresh .i went to wal-mart bought a blanket.The second night used the murphy bed no sheets to be found for bed.there were sheets and blankets in cabinet in living area stuff in a big wad there was not doubt was not clean. maybe these were pet sheets to cover furniture?
