No mirror to you speak of (there’s a 3 x 5 index card size mirror inside one of the kitchen cabinets). They allow pets but I would say the environment is NOT pet friendly. There’s no pet relief area and we pulled five ticks of the dog in one over night stay. I traveled with my wife and dog. The cabins are very small, so the two of us would negotiated the space. No issues with hot water as noted by other reviews." The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable, and having TVs in each room made the kids especially happy. The cottage itself is charming and quaint, yet conveniently located just a short drive from town. We enjoyed spending time at the fishing pond (even though we didn't catch anything!), and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind in the evenings. Watching the stars while soaking was such a peaceful experience. We only wish we had booked an extra night. On our last morning, my husband spotted a doe and her fawn in the side yard, which was such a special treat. Communication with Jim and Jan was excellent -- they were responsive and readily available if we had needed anything. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax, soak in a hot tub, and enjoy the beauty of nature, you will absolutely love this rental."
