Nestled on an acre of magnificent landscaped gardens with meandering garden paths and lots of seating area you can explore its nooks and crannies or enjoy the magnificent expansive lake views from your own private deck (of which there are 3) while enjoying a glass of your favorite beverage. Ngurra is the ultimate country home. Located 15 minutes from Mansfield, 2 minutes from Goughs Bay township (which offers multiple free public boat ramps) and 35 minutes from the entrance to Mt Buller Alpine national park there is plenty to keep you entertained all your round. Our delightful four bedroom, two living spaces, two bathroom home can sleep 9 adults comfortably (King bed; Queen bed; 2 single beds; and bunk room which sleeps 3). There is a cozy wood fire and all our rooms have their own individual heating. The house is also equipped with 4 reverse cycle air conditioning units - one in each of the upstairs bedroom and one in each living space. We have a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and miele oven. All basics are provided. There is also an Aldi pod coffee machine (BYO pods) and a coffee machine (BYO beans). There is also a full size BBQ for your enjoyment and a state-of-the art Asko drying cabinet for drying snow ski equipment in the winter months. The house also features 2 TV and a Wii console -just bring your favourite games! The house boasts 3 decks: one front deck, one rear deck and a private deck accessed directly from the upstairs master bedroom so you can enjoy Al fresco dining both in the morning and in the afternoon. Children will enjoy feeding the local bird life directly from their hands. Both bathrooms have a shower while the downstairs bathroom also has a full sized bath. Mansfield is a 15 min drive from Ngurra, where there are plenty of shops and dining options. Alternatively you can pick up a few essentials at the Goughs Bay General Store or even some takeaway from the caravan park or at the local restaurant 'Amongst the Sticks'. Your choices are endless... In the warmer months small pets may be accommodated on request. Although they must be kept outdoors in the rear yard. Please note, we can not guarantee that the fencing will contain an active dog. Ngurra is not your average holiday house - its a loved home that we look forward to sharing with you. Clean and with enough space for everybody. About an hour drive up to Mt. Buller which makes this property an ideal place for families looking for somewhere to stay for a snow trip. The fireplace is nice and with a whole shed full of wood you won't freeze. Split systems are also installed. Telstra phone reception is good aswell. Location is pretty and handy for driving to Mt Bulla. View from the balcony is beautiful and our boys enjoyed feeding the birds and playing in the garden. Overall the house was well setup with everything you need. There was a constant stream of ants in the upstairs bathroom and the sheets were dirty in one of the bedrooms. Very frustrating about the lack of internet connection and wifi, especially for people that run their own business. Unfortunately we had a less than pleasant experience with the owners on our second last day. The owners forgot that we had extended our stay by 1 extra day and they inadvertently leased the house to another family. We were out skiing for the day and received an extremely rude message from the owners stating that if we did not remove our belongings from the property immediately they would instruct the cleaners to put everything outside, even if it was raining!!! The apology we got when they realised it was in fact their mistake for double booking was almost non existent. Very disappointing customer service. ##### Tanya A. It has the most beautiful views and we loved exploring the gardens. So nice to sit on the deck and see the stars at night. You could not ask for a better host. Gerard was so responsive. He made sure our stay was perfect. No issues what so ever. We honestly didn't want to leave. Such a great spot. ##### Nichole H. Nice clean house, comfy sofa, beautiful views, and a good kitchen. It was close enough to town to make picking up groceries & takeaway easy.
