This is a perfect place to come with multiple age family members.
Beautiful views, relaxing for adults . Huge lawn for outdoor games, lovely swimming hole big enough to paddle board. We love it here!
Our family had a Celebration of Life family gathering here for our mom. It was a magically healing place where we could all stay together, in a relaxed, delightful place.
What a special property…truly fantastic. So quiet, tranquil and beautiful! Beds were all super comfy and kitchen was incredibly well stocked. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into every detail!
We enjoyed our Winter Holiday stay and can't wait to try out the place for a Summer stay. So many things to do and see. Something for every age. SUPER CLEAN! Highly recommend.
The host deserves a great deal of credit for providing clear and concise information about the property. The property is comfortable, quiet, great for a large group. The view of Mt Shasta is absolutely gorgeous. Very memorable for us!!
We loved this place so much. It was very family friendly, equipped with all of the necessities plus snow toys and lots of games. Perfect getaway with the kids and grandkids. Close to lots of snow play areas and to town for supplies or restaurants .
And the venue itself is like a secluded retreat .
The property was absolutely gorgeous. The house and property were perfect for my family to enjoy open spaces. The host provides many amenities for all ages to enjoy. I would recommend this place (I already have) to people.

Great place to have a small family reunion. Cozy hideaway. Comfortable furnishings. Stunning view of Mt. Shasta. Family enjoyed the pond, the zipline and the trail. Fully stocked, kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. Game room was a nice added bonus. Owner responded immediately to communications. Thank you Wendy for an amazing stay.
We recently held a retreat at Bodhana, the grounds were perfect! the home & sleeping accomodations were comfortable and clean. We really could not have asked for a better place to hold our retreat! I'm very grateful for the owners grace and ease of communication. Everyone attending was in awe of the view, they loved the trail, creeks, beach and the general vibe! It is my hope that we can come back and do it again! Namaste
What a lovely and serene place! The fun is built in with the lake, the beach, the zip line, the decks, balconies, and surrounding paths into the wilderness. We used the big tables for eating, creating and game playing. We enjoyed the game room and the piano too. Loved the sound of the creek from our bedrooms. Such a fun and well equipped kitchen. We could not have enjoyed our stay more! Everything was beyond perfect. Thank you thank you thank you Wendy. We hope to make it an annual event.
the house provided the perfect retreat to start the new year with fresh energy. The location was ideal—surrounded by towering pines, with breathtaking views of Mount Shasta right from the property. Mornings were peaceful, sipping coffee on the deck while watching snow-capped peak, and evenings were cozy by the fireplace, sharing stories with family. The crisp mountain air and quiet surroundings made it feel like a true escape from the hustle of daily life.Inside, the house was warm and inviting, with rustic charm and all the modern comforts we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals together, and the spacious living area was perfect for unwinding. The bedrooms were comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after days spent exploring.Speaking of exploring, the house was conveniently located near beautiful hiking trails, lakes, and the town of Mount Shasta. We enjoyed scenic walks, visited hidden waterfalls, and even felt the spiritual energy that the area is known for.Overall, our stay was rejuvenating and memorable. Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, a Mount Shasta house rental is a perfect getaway. We can’t wait to return next year!
This property is a special one. It is very spacious, with our group of 9 easily finding their own bed, with options to spare. The grounds are superb, with the highlight being the huge green lawn and pond. We spend most of our time playing lawn games and eating on the patio during our Sept visit. The kitchen was stocked with every amenity most will ever need, including less common items for rentals like parchment paper, a microplane, cast iron dutch oven, etc. The oven was a little tricky to figure out as I think the selector knob must be off (bake, broil, etc). Nevertheless, we easily made every meal during our 3 night stay.
I've never stayed in a rental that had this many activities in one place. If you have a wide and varied group, there is space and something for everyone to do. I didn't even find the 2nd creekside deck until the morning we left!
If I have a multi-family trip up to Shasta again, this will be the first place I look.
This was an absolutely magical place! Peaceful, breathtaking views, clean fresh water in the lake, perfectly appointed kitchen, one couldn't ask for more. Our two yellow labs loved the lake and grass and we appreciated a very dog friendly house and property. Highly recommend!

Amazing location and property grounds! The house itself (especially kitchen and bathrooms) are dated. The
This house was perfect for our three generations, ages 6 months to 72. Kitchen was well-equipped, game room, outdoor toys, zipline over the pond, enormous grassy field, and an outstanding view of Mt Shasta. Easy check in, and minimal check-out requirements. Our only negative is that we didn't book for more days!
