He didnt catch anything but the locals he talk to said that area was the hot spot. The weather was good, it did snow one day and was very cold; the power did go out and we had to drive close to town to make a call to the host to report the outage and it took several hours to repair but we had good family time waiting. The cabin is so remote, you only have wifi calling. the rest of the week the weather was nice and mild. The cabin is a drive from town, so you know...like 25-30 mins. the closes store was a Dollar General which had most what we needed. We cooked in most nights which was great. We did forget our airfryer and ask the host to send back to us (obliviously) we will pay the shipping but havent heard back from him yet on that. Marion town is small and cute, not to many restaurants but a couple. The one we went to a couple of times was the Wooden Pickle. its small but so good; has a full menu/drinks! Over all the cabin was really nice, all bedrooms are downstairs and living/kitchen upstairs. There is a firepit outside off to the side but we didnt use it. We use the grill and ate outside upstairs most nights. This cabin is definitely secluded and off the path. If you plan to disconnect from reality, this is the place because there is no cell service until you enter the main roads not far from the cabin.
